Celebrity Silhouette Hints & Tips!

I feel you're more of an "old world" cruiser than most presenters. And I'm relieved and happy to see this. The thing is, you seem to focus on viewing the sea and spending time in lounges. I've seen very few reviews that comment on the goodness of the Ensemble Lounge, a place that I think is crucial on the Solstice ships and give them their personality. The Martini Bar also is a wonderful spot and note how different they are in ambiance. The promenade deck isn't the best but at least you've found a spot that's enjoyable as well as the deck in front of the gym. I will say I wish the refurbishments were more renovations or restorations than refurbishments/remodels as I do not love the neutrals with a color look of the Edge ships. And that's how most of the refurbishments are done with beige seats and blues rather than the richer colors of the original ship. I'm also not a fan of the overused high-back chairs that Celebrity inherited from Royal Caribbean. But overall, this Celebrity class of ship is the one for "old world" cruisers, then then Millennium, and not the Edge class.

Thanks for the video. I really like the Silhouette especially after the refurbishment. I went to the fjords in 2019 and in 2021, I had a very enjoyable week-long cruise around Britain. Luckily, Scotland had opened up to cruise ships by then. I agree with you about the promenade deck. I didn't know about the forward deck beyond the gym. I must remember for next time. I enjoyed the food in the Grand Curvée. The staff worked so hard to make it a lovely experience every time and deserve a shout out. We didn't to Morano, but we did have dinner in the Tuscan Grille and lunch in the Sushi on %. Both were excellent. We were sailing at half capacity and many of the bars, although opened, did lack the usual atmosphere, with the exception of the Sky Lounge. I look forward to sailing on her again.

Hi guys loved the video..I can’t find out what time the entertainment starts to make dinner reservations. I was told between 7-9. Daaahhh i knew that!
