I had the immense pleasure of sitting with Bon Jovi and his band in Vancouver @ the Granville Cinema- where the "debut" of Basic Instinct was playing. They were up there, recording, and took a break to go see the movie. They sat right in front of us.. ( not knowing at this point)...and I griped.. sitting behind all that " hair". They laughed..and we moved up in front of them. They chatted and we talked... after the movie. Real gentlemen... all of them.

He seems very down to earth. In his recent appearance on Kimmel, Jimmy also asked him about his debut on a Star Wars Christmas album, his initial dissatisfaction with the Living on a Prayer song, and the Bubbles story, and he was just as engaged describing it here even though he's probably been asked a million times about it over the years.

Great story about Michael Jackson. Thank you for sharing it to us, Bon Jovi. By the way, KZbinrs who wants to know more information about Michael Jackson should consult the podcasts called "Michael Jackson Case for Innocence", "Red Jackson Dance" (on KZbin), "The Mjcast", and the documentaries "Square One MJ", "The Lies of Leaving Neverland”, “Michael Jackson Private Home Movies”, “Michael Jackson Take Two The Footage You Were Never Meant to See”, “Michael Jackson The Humanitarian”, and “Loving Neverland”. These multiple documents are precious and rich in information that the media refuses to adequately broadcast.

I love seeing Jon doing so many interviews while promoting Legendary. In the past 40 yrs i would get excited to see him on a talk show, talking about his personal life. It was rare. In every show he did was talk about his music. I love the new documentary because you get to hear a little bit of everything. My heart breaks for Jon but its fantastic the music catalog he has. I recommend watching it. Ive watched it 4 times

I was never a huge fan (their music was good, but it seemed like 80s pop after the 80s ended). He branched out way beyond music, and I assumed he was just a good businessman; but he is engaging, broadly talented, authentic and really connects with people (immediately). I get it now.

I was surprised Rich didn't know that Jon has acted in several movies. And he's actually done a good job, better than some of these guys being pushed through by hollywood big-wigs. I was stationed at NAS Millington from July to December of 1985, and I arrived just before 4th of July weekend. There was a concert at Mud Island for the holiday, with Bon Jovi OPENING for Ratt. She's a Little Runaway was Bon Jovi's hit at that time, and Round and Round was Ratt's. I actually remember Bon Jovi's show more than Ratt's, and liked the music better, too.
