Michael is the best! He's a genius performer who knows like every show, review, Broadway play, etc and can reference them all in conversation, and he can play professional guitar music i.e. folk, bluegrass, "American songbook" type stuff, seriously like hundreds of songs. Great guest

Oh Man - I always enjoy Michaels work. He has to be in the top ten of people I would like to "have a beer" or go to lunch with. As much as I enjoy his work, there's no major Breaking Bad character I can think of for him. The two others that come to mind are Jane's dad, or the rehab guy that accidentally killed his own daughter. I'm leaning towards the latter.

even during BB series i think michael mckean would've been too old to be a main character. mckean is mid 70s now so don't see too many 60 year old teaching high school chemistry (or 60 year old guys negotiating street-level-drug-dealer situations). I'd guess more likely it was walter white's business partner elliot, bc that's a similar type of role. iow, chuck is to JMG/SG as to what elliot was to WW.
