Has anybody ever had a career as fascinating as McGinley? He was like the greatest sitcom relief pitcher of all time. He came in as a late inning replacement on Happy Days, Love Boat, and Married With Children and was pivotal in keeping all three on tha air. Oh yeah, and he was in one of the most memorable movies of the 80's. Not too shabby, Mr McGinley.

My favorite Jefferson moment was when Kelly had a job at a tv show theme park and Jefferson enters the shot with 3 or 4 kids following him: Boy: "What was it like being on Happy Days?" Jefferson: "I'm telling you. I was never on Happy Days. My name is Jefferson D'Arcy." Girl: "Was that your name on Love Boat?"

Great interview with Ted. MWC was kind of cut short in the UK and thankfully I have all the episodes that didn't air here. Jefferson and Al were just like 2 slapstick cartoon characters that killed me and it was great to see everyone together when Steve returned too.

I know Ted McGinley got a lot of criticism for what he either did or did not bring to Married with Children, but as a big fan of the show, I must say that he did have some very funny moments and I can't blame the writers for wanting to give Marcy a new husband who was the opposite of straight-laced nine-to-five desk-job Steve.

This is/was similar to how old school professional wrestlers were. the heels (bad guys) and baby faces (good guys) did not and could not be seen together at all before the wrestling match.
