But we literally just knew LESS, and saw LESS of their personal lives. Today, we all think sydney sweeney is a trump supporter, just because one of her relatives is one. There are many adults and even elders who have celebrity crushes and it’s quite normal and common for the most part. But the difference between a person who obsesses over their crush and someone who simply just admires them is that people often form parasocial relationships with these celebrities and become delusional and obsessive. Those are people who take things way too far. Imo, there’s nothing wrong with having a celebrity crush as an adult bc even celebrities have them too, but it becomes a problem when people make it personal and weird.

I think it's OK to have a crush as an adult because usually adult crushes are a little more fleeting than child crushes or teenage crushes. As an adult who does have many crushes, I never take it that far. I never let it get to my head and I always get over it. Whether it's a real life person crush or a celebrity crush. There are some celebrities that I LOVE and respect them, but if I were ever in their presence, I’m not going to lose all self composure and start acting like an animal and hinting at sexual acts. I’m going to act freaking normal and show them that I’m just another human being that likes their art 💀💀. Ppl do too much and end up not getting the same chance again.
