@@williammials6080 now that’s the one she should have had some discernment about that raggedy husband.Berry took Flo out on a date and tried to talk sexual with her and she rebuffed him and after that it was a wrap. She talked about it on the interview tapes and it was in the book Lost Supreme. Took her to see some exotic dancer with a snake lol. I wonder though if she had gotten with him how things would have turned out group wise. Would we still have Diana Ross?

I feel that when Florence husband was working for Mr. Gordey as a chauffeur he more than likely heard plenty of shady things regarding the business. And when him and Flo begin dating he shared those stories with her and when she decided to sue for royalties those shady deals were going to be exposed which lead to the husband silence. No telling what info Flo was holding on to which caused her demise in the end. RIP True Supreme

@sarahmoses19103 жыл бұрын
What happened to Florence Ballard was certainly a tragedy especially in her growing years. But I believe that she made some bad choices marrying Tommy Chapman and having children by him and he did nothing but bring her down even more that definitely contributed her spiriling and attitude.

I love this channel!!! I'm 52 and I love the episodes like this was more so my mom's era, but I've always fascinated with Motown music from the 50's and 60's. And I've always felt compassion for Flo. She was a beautiful shining star. She was misunderstood and taken from us too soon. I've read a majority of the books about Motown they are very good reads. I hope a movie is made about Flo's life. RIP beautiful lady!!! Your legacy, voice and beautiful spirit will lives on. ❤❤
