CELERY LEAF CARE
Celery cultivation is mentioned in several episodes. We start sowing it in December. There are two types of celery that we grow in the garden: root and leaf. These are varieties that can be bought in an agricultural pharmacy. It is very important that you start preparing the planting material on time in order to have these results, and you could see some of the results in the previous episodes when I was picking celery. I think it's the "Overground and Underground Perma Models" episode. What I'm going to show you in this episode is how to care for celery leaves. Celery root is just inserted into the perma model and it simply works for itself, it is not demanding at all, even though all kinds of things are said about it. When it comes to celery leaves, seedlings are inserted in the same way, but there is a moment in which it is necessary to tie some kind of foil around the leaves, and I will show you exactly that. Tying the foil, or in this case paper, around the stalks of celery, to get those beautiful specimens you can see in markets.
