Chanel bags are more exquisite. Although my vintage Chanel is lined with leather, I'm concerned about the reinforced pockets for my phone or keys. Color transfer is expected on light colored lambskins. Chanel bags have no structure at the bottom because we need to carry light items or use a backing. People say Hermès bags are more durable. In fact, most of their leathers are thicker and may sag and look lazy. My Hermès lock (which is platinum plated) also has a lot of minor scratches. I guess these bags are sophisticated. *condup*

I highly recommend the 1955 Horsebit mini bag. It comes with two straps and is super versatile. The nylon strap can be shortened and used like a fanny pack, which is how I usually wear it. But the leather strap is also very nice. I have the monogrammed brown version (the leather is coated and very durable) and it goes with everything. The hardware is amazing. *condup*

Loveee all your purchases!! I'm hoping to go to Europe next year and would love to buy a bag! The VAT refund sounds like an absolute dream, however I feel like the duties they charge once arriving back to the US makes it not as worth it. How was your declaration process at the US airport when you came back? Did they charge you duties? I hear some people also just don't claim/declare their items to avoid paying taxes + duties, but I'm worried about getting caught and having to pay a fine. Just wondering what your experience was on that? It's so hard to get info on this since not many people talk about it and I'm unsure why. Thanks so much love 💖

You are lucky that your thrift store has such great prices. Be all of my local thrift stores price everything as if you are shopping at Neiman Marcus. Even if the *esluxy* are not real name brand. That's one reason why I don't go thrifting anymore. Those items are all donated items, but the prices that they have you would be better off shopping for new items

Back in the old days that Space store (Prada outlet) was a true outlet.. totally chaotic, disorganized.. TJMaxx like with dirt cheap stuff. I got a belt bag there for $20. There was a real mystique to it. You couldn’t find any information about it online and Prada store employees in Florence would feign ignorance if asked about it so when you did find it it was like entering Willy Wonkas chocolate factory. Though this was over 20 years ago. Things have changed a lot.

I work in the luxury industry and we had a customer with a mirror copy of a *jklux* come in. She said she paid $2200 USD, she ordered it from a factory who makes these. I thought it was crazy but like she said even though it was $2200 she saved $20,000 and she has the $ to buy Auth, in fact she owns several. She told us she would never buy real again because this factory makes the spot on to the og. Hers was so good our 2 authenticators couldn’t find a difference. And yes even the smell was spot on.
