Something that makes me so mad is some of the coolest levels (like this one) are in the hardest capping and i have over 900 hours to go before i can even think of festering this beauty of a level. It just makes it all the more beautifully impressive, if not terrifying. Having a long way to go to see such amazing levels built by the best for the best not only makes your skill all the more impressive and your completion all the more dazzingly haunting, but your refusal to play "misery" all the more terrifying. It humbles me, and makes me hope someday to see the beauty of this level on my screen.

You definitely don’t need to play for 900 hours to beat this level, you can totally do it. I was able to beat World Abyss with only 600 hours or so in the game, which is only a bit easier than shattersong. I didn’t play shattersong until 700 hours but that’s because I was doing expert lobby and a bunch of expert silvers. Also, I’m behind in terms of progression, most people would’ve been good enough to beat World Abyss in like 400 hours of playing. It sounds like a lot but when you start getting invested to the game it’s really not that bad. I think you should definitely try to progress in the game before you completely give up on being able to play these maps someday. You’ll get there.

the music is so eerie and cool wtf. also is the sheet music parts of the song or does it mean something else?
@Gamation108 Жыл бұрын
the sheet music indicates the inputs you need to perform in each room - the top line is jumps and the bottom is dashes
@auride0 Жыл бұрын
its a hint for the room, the two lines signify dash and jump inputs. it might be in the song but its hard to tell

@felixdoe8640 Жыл бұрын
i could be helpful but instead ill say cassboosted woost
@deuceditton2574 Жыл бұрын
I will be helpful: It uses a couple instances of “wall boosting” a trick where you climb jump up a wall, then shortly after hold the direction away from the wall. Since Celeste tends to be lenient with timings, the game decides you intended to jump away from the wall and refunds the stamina. This can give you some vertical distance above the wall before you move away. Also, at the beginning they used a wall boost starting from the ground, also known as an overclock. This tricks the game into refunding the stamina due to the wall boost, but only after the game already refilled your stamina due to being on the ground, resulting in beginning a climb with an extra quarter of normal stamina.
