And to think, this all began with an Eagles song in the 1970's called 'Journey of the Sorcerer' which was the title theme to Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy on Radio. That's what inspired the Outer Wilds music.

Just wondering, what kind of banjo is been used? I would like to purchase one to play like this kind of style. Is it a 4 string or a 6 string banjo?

I play a 5-string banjo. Open-back and resonator 4 string banjos are usually "tenor banjos" and are mostly playing in Irish/Celtic/Scottish music. 6 string banjos are usually just guitars but on a banjo body. I don't think I've even held one of these in my hands.
