I practiced medicine for 41 years. 29 years in the ER and 12 years of Cardio-thoracic surgery. NDEs are something I know about. I lost my wife of 52 years. We had been together since we were 16 years old. After she passed away strange things started happening around the house that I couldn't scientific explain. I was able to video three of them. I was asked by friends to write the rest of them down. It became a book entitled "A Random Life?". It's a true story. I would like Lee's opinion on the story. It's currently an E-book and in print. It has been picked up by 15 different companies and is offered worldwide. I don't know what to think. I am still a mess. I miss her immensely. I am thankful for Heaven Awaits and the stories people send.

It sounds like such an interesting book! I had almost two years of direct and frequent contact with my sister after she committed suicide in 2003 and Leigh actually narrated some of my story back in the beginning of this year. It seemed like so many people were interested in my experience and I had hundreds of comments, so if that's any indication of the level of interest in your book, it's something to consider? I would certainly buy it and I'll look for it online! I'm so sorry about your wife's passing and while I know she's back "home" and perfect again, I'm sure it's agonizing for you. It's really the loved ones that are left surviving, that bear the pain of losing someone. For us, the loss and separation can feel like forever, but for those that have left us, it's only a single brief moment before they're with us again.

I relate to this story. I didn't leave my body, but I still was very ill, and decided that, for my children, having a sick Mom was better than having no Mom.
@vickiwerner Жыл бұрын
Although this is my story, it obviously is a moment of time compared to a lifetime of experiences. Not only did I have an NDE as a mother of 5 children, but when I was 5 yrs. old, my own mother nearly died and was in and out of the hospital for 2 years. I remember helplessly running in the door every day from kindergarten to see if my mother was home.. and alive. So, I am very aware of the trauma this is to a child, watching helplessly as their frail parent is on the brink of death. Layering this also, was that my husband had an NDE in 2017 due to an infection in his head. Both of us were on the brink of death for over a year, followed by YEARS OF HEALING. Our children are impacted by this trauma in ways I cannot describe. But anxiety is definitely a key player. I pray you are on the other side of your healing journey. Many blessings to you..

I really like the part when she knows if she goes any further or sees anything beyond that point, she wont come back!! I take B-complex. I don't understand what/how this happened.. Does it come in some powder? Or was it loaded with other ingredient? I accidentally took one of them B vitamins as a kid too, too much. I remember the terrible, terrible, terrible pain!! On the floor, toilet in bathroom. Two days but I wonder which one basically killed this person? Seeing that B's are water soluble. 🤔 One or more must be toxic in high doses. More clarification please?
@vickiwerner Жыл бұрын
I understand this question for sure. While it’s challenging to convey the many facets to this story, the B complex is an element not included. On a side note, after the legal battles my husband gave up his Medical license and opened an herb store. So, I was very familiar with supplements. It was a new bottle, unopened. While the high dose itself wasn’t a good thing, it shouldn’t have been a level to kill somebody. However, due to immense trauma, my gut was very compromised and weak. So, it most likely wouldn’t have the same effect on someone else. There is a possibility the batch was somehow contaminated. Although, I don’t have proof of that. Either way. The event unfolded as it did. And I’m grateful to be alive now.

Thanks for posting this NDE, Leigh & Jen for the narration. This was a very human NDE experience that a lot of people will empathise with. Parent's leaving their loved ones behind has to be the worst. Vicki's experience proved to be both helpful & insightful for her & her family. But, how many would wish to have such an experience to see the effects of their not being around? Many people have low self esteem & see no value in their live's. It reminded me of the James Stewart film, It's a Wonderful Life, where he is shown by an angel the result of him never having been born. Never seen it? Well worth a viewing. Vicki also mentioned the 'cord of life' more often called the 'silver cord', as she said it is attached from our spirit to our body & life for the body is maintained until it is severed. When that happens, death for the body takes place & we move on to the world of spirit. Peace and love to all. ❤

📌Friends, I hope this helps someone who needs to hear it💜 According to many Near-Death Experiences (NDEs), we come here to learn about love experientially and to *apply* what we learn. A soul cannot do that in the ethereal realm because everything is perfect there. To understand the light (love), one must experience darkness; one cannot truly know what a thing is until it has been contrasted with its opposite. I believe we choose to come here, and sometimes not just to learn, but to help others (to teach). Heaven is home, but once we've enjoyed basking for eons in perfect heavenly bliss, we might look forward to a new challenge/adventure in this amazing universe. I think the soul takes on these 'lives' just as we opt to read books or watch movies - sometimes a comedy, other times a drama or thriller etc., - but all for the sole purpose of learning to love. So please don't fear the process; God knows what He's doing. Don't be a backseat driver! 😊 However, I do believe that it's *imperative* that we learn to love (mercy, compassion, forgiveness, kindness, fortitude, equanimity, etc.), otherwise, experiences and even lives may repeat until we do so. Understandably, God always gives precedence to the soul over the body. Once we've overcome all our challenges, I doubt we'll come here too often, if at all. I believe that an important thing to remember is the 'golden thread' that seems to run through most NDEs; namely, we are a part of God (His children), we're eternal, we're loved beyond measure, and we come here to learn to love. Thank goodness it's designed in such a way as to always feel like the first time! Strive to be the best version of yourself in thought, word, and deed, and you may be surprised by the abundance of blessings that come your way. Give it a try and see for yourself! I wish you the very best in life! 💜 "To find the best in others; To leave the world a bit better... To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded." -Ralph Waldo Emerson💜

What about the people who grow up in poverty and easily get corrupted by the violence around them? Are they choosing too? No soul in heaven would willingly choose that path of destruction.
@Belief_Before_Glory Жыл бұрын
@@HeinVonderweid Friend, you start with two questions, then you end with a statement which you seem to be *unequivocal* about. So what's the point in me even *trying* to answer you? Nevertheless... Some say that the greatest, most powerful & heroic souls choose the greatest challenges, but who really knows, right? Even Jesus confirmed the suffering we would all have in this world: "...in the world ye shall have tribulation..." -John 16:33 And the great Stoics understood the reasons why: "Difficulties are things that show what men are. For the future, in case of any difficulty, remember that God, like a gymnastic trainer, has pitted you against a rough antagonist. For what end? That you may be an Olympic conqueror; and this cannot be without toil." -Epictetus "What would have become of Hercules do you think if there had been no lion, hydra, stag or boar - and no savage criminals to rid the world of? What would he have done in the absence of such challenges? Obviously he would have just rolled over in bed and gone back to sleep. So by snoring his life away in luxury and comfort he never would have developed into the mighty Hercules. And even if he had, what good would it have done him? What would have been the use of those arms, that physique, and that noble soul, without crises or conditions to stir into him action?" -Epictetus You said, "...No soul in heaven would willingly choose that path of destruction" *Seriously?* Look at what Jesus did! Look at what Socrates did! Look at what the disciples & apostles went through! All horrific! And there are *many* more. They knew their fates but would not waver; *why?* Because they understood this principle: 📌"Therefore we don’t faint, but though our outward person is decaying, yet our inward person is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is for the moment, works for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory, while we don’t look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal." -2 Corinthians 4:17💜 Please understand, what you consider as "...the path of destruction" in the corporeal realm, may be seen as the path of glory in the ethereal realm. Please think carefully about the following verse with regards to your statement: 👉"Pray, therefore, that the Lord of the harvest will send out laborers into his harvest." -Matthew 9:38 Who are the "laborers" and what is the harvest? When you understand this verse, you will have your answer. I wish you the very best!💜

@@barryhampton6270 Thank you, Barry, for your kind words. You'd be surprised if you saw all the negative responses (some even hateful) I get in reply to my message of love. However, I'm not ignorant as to why: "Remember the word that I said to you: ‘A servant is not greater than his lord.’ If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you. If they kept my word, they will also keep yours." -John 15:20 So messages like yours are an absolute pleasure to receive & it means a lot to me to know that I'm making a difference somehow. I am actually writing a novel, but because I'm so active in the comments on KZbin, it's taken a back seat. But you have inspired me to resume with it, thank you, friend💜 As for not wanting to reincarnate, I completely understand - life is tough! However, through the process of reincarnation, it seems that not only does the soul evolve and grow in power and authority through these challenges (spiritual progressive resistance), but it also seems to ascend through greater & greater heavenly realms as it does so. I can only imagine that the ultimate goal is to become one with God (to merge). When we're here, we long for heaven. But I think that once we're in heaven again, we probably can't wait to come back 😂 Friend, here are a few more Stoic verses for you, on this topic: "Difficulties strengthen the mind, as labor does the body." -Seneca "The greater the difficulty, the more glory in surmounting it. Skillful pilots gain their reputation from storms and tempests." -Epictetus "A gem cannot be polished without friction, nor a man perfected without trials." -Seneca I wish you the best!💜

Thank you for sharing your story, Vicki. 11 years ago, my granddaughter, who was 22 months, died suddenly in the night, sleeping next to my daughter. The autopsy couldn't reveal the cause. Our whole family has been traumatized since then. My daughter and her husband both suffer from PTSD and the other 2 older children are not living up to their potential and I get to witness the continual, never ending pain of my daughter, and the others. She's been in ongoing therapy for 11 years. WHY did you get to come back and heal and my granddaughter did not? I don't get it! I am left just having to do the best I can, with the mental pain. I watch these videos and often rhe reason the NDE experiencer is because their family need them. Well, not everyone comes back, so using the same logic woud mean those whose family member leave too soon, like my little granddaughter, have families that don't need them? That sounds insane!
@vickiwerner Жыл бұрын
I'm so sorry for the loss of your granddaughter. I understand this pain as well. In my story, I shared that my daughter, Audrie, married her then-boyfriend. What was not shared in this part of my story, but is shared later in my book, is that the night before her wedding, our 5-day-old grandson died. It was horrific to try to heal and have a wedding and funeral in the same week. Yes, of course, our families want and need us, and by no means was I spared because of chance or even extra privilege that others are not. The trauma I endured from having my husband taken from me has taken me nearly 20 yrs to overcome. And my healing journey after my NDE was excruciating, scary, and the hardest thing I've ever done. However, trying to make sense of why bad things happen to good people or why some receive the answers to their prayers is something we all grapple with and may never find the answers while we are here, in this life experience. What I do believe is that there is a divine order to all things. I believe that our life experiences are for our growth rather than our comfort. God is a loving God, and while we all have very painful experiences, and nothing compares to the loss of a child, the spiritual growth that we potentially have and the awakening of greater empathy and compassion for others is immense. I know you and your daughter will be with your granddaughter again, one day. Please know that you are in my prayers. Many blessings to you and your family.

Existiental thinking too deep just makes me feel more lost and confused.

I think many people struggle with the same thing. Personally I have found spirituality to be a little more all encompassing for me. I don't believe that certain people are restricted from Heaven because there is only one all knowing religion. For example, if someone was not exposed to the teachings of the Bible, or grew up in an atheist home, and they pass away at a young age, do people think they will go directly to hell, do not pass go. I don't believe so. I think God would like for us to do everything and treat everyone with love, tolerance and forgiveness. I was baptized Catholic, but I certainly don't think anyone who has different religions or beliefs are any better than me or have less chance of going to Heaven.The Bible was written by man, and people end up arguing about certain things in the Bible and how it is to be interpreted etc

But his NDE happened in 1992 after his 1st open heart surgery. Two day after the surgery, an artery excluded, and he flatlined. He was shocked 22 times before he was stable enough to have the 2nd open heart surgery. When he left his body, he was walking the beautiful paths. During the times he was shocked, he came back. This happened, several times. The path & back.

Hi Family, I hope everyone is having a beautiful day filled with peace and love. *spoiler alert* don't continue reading if you haven't watched. I am only half way through at the part where she is looking at "the scary house with ravens" that turn into a better looking house and the ravens turn into other birds... I've had this question in my brain for a very long time and I am wondering... do you think some of us are being tricked during our NDE's? I ran into this person who is dedicated his entire life to saying that NDE's are fallen angels confusing us. The bible does say we should "test the spirits to see if whether they are from God" (1John 4:1) and that Lucifer can disguise himself as an angel of light (2 corinthians 11:14). I have no idea why this topic has been very very heavy on my heart and brain lately. What do all of you think? I would love to hear other ideas.
@vickiwerner Жыл бұрын
Hello, and thank you for asking this question. This is my story so I will answer according to my understanding. I somehow knew that the original view I was shown of the darker location was symbolic to the lower 3-D vibration. However, I think ravens have mystical symbolism as well. As I was on that path, I feel that I was leaving the lower density planes and being lifted to the higher dimensions with the transformation of the environment to indicate the higher dimensions. I agree with you and believe Satan is the great deceiver. I think it’s healthy that we always continue to look for truth, and to keep our eyes on God. I hope the answer helps. Many blessings to you

@@vickiwerner "I somehow knew that the original view I was shown of the darker location was symbolic to the lower 3-D vibration." that's what I thought when I heard that part. it was probably also related to what you said about yourself always avoiding "scary" things like horror movies or Halloween spook houses. (I'm the same way). that symbolism was stuff you already carried with you. BTW - fantastic account. so glad you have recovered. I guess the other moral of the story is ALWAYS READ THE WARNING AND DOSAGE LABELS CAREFULLY!!

One thing that keeps coming up with these NDE's is what you gained from it, you think whenever we die the same will happen? Do we all go there and undergo feedback on our progression of earth?.

Hello, I keep watching NDE, But Im curious on demons and deformed spirits, bcuz when I was a kid, I saw a horse w/o head and on my highschool I saw a priestlike dress floating, and on other instance I saw a statue it is small, I feel like its a bad statue. What is their connection? Is there any information? My brother too, He was victimized by witchcraft, there are hairs coming out of his body like so many, and when they prayed to him, one who prayed to him suddenly ran and then climbed the wall, seems like some spirits attacked him. I am open minded. Its just thats theres no much infornation about bad spirits during NDE

Jen, sorry but your voice is difficult to listen to. I can't explain exactly why, but not easy for me, but I do still listen.

How didn’t she go to a different doctor that is ridiculous to be that sick and be told it is gastrointestinal

I don't think Out of Body Experiences are the same thing as Near Death Experiences. They are very different. Anything could have happened. In an NDE, either you go to God or to heck.

Why do NDE's never relate the Predator Class' current extinction level event? Seems that might be something the supposed "heavenly realm" would want their people to know? Hmmm.

@@HeavenAwaits do a Google search for "Holocene Extinction."
@anthonypanneton923 Жыл бұрын
it could be that the theorized current extinction level event is just that - a theory, and perhaps one that will not play out as theorized. or it could be something else.
@jacquelinejay1421 Жыл бұрын
@@anthonypanneton923 Ok, if I am following along correctly, I think you both are talking about the supposed up and coming extinction level event and I've thought about this a lot. Maybe, it will happen, maybe it will not BUT one thing is true... it is definitely the end of the world for everyone who dies and there definitely doesn't seem to be a shortage of location specific disastrous events. So maybe, a LARGE all at once world event may not happen but for many around the world, they experience small localized disastrous events... if that makes sense.

I am the original host Leigh and I have no idea why Jen left, could have been a number of things.
