for a fellow contrapoints fan, id suggest "eluveitie, worship" (blackened folk) (brutal) "none, damp chill of life" album (dsbm) (dark and nihilistic) "frowning, murdered by grief" (funeral doom) (tuneless, until the 4:00 mark ) "moonspell, first light" (gothic black metal) (most brutal growls ive ever heard) (none of these bands are fascist either. no nsbm. ☠️🤘)

@@bazookallamaproductions5280 Thanks, I am a longtime fan of Eluveitie, and the rest are familiar to me, except for Frowning. Will check it out but not usually into doom. Also, props for the non-nsbm recommends. I don't mind if a band I like has some questionable views - I like old-school Peste Noire and Nokturnal Mortum for instance, but I try to avoid that stuff where possible. I don't have to agree with a song's POV to enjoy it, but it definitely hampers the experience somewhat if they're being outright facists.

(raw blackened noise metal) (FILTHY and disgusting sounding. ☠️🤘) "beelzebubs, pantheon of the nightshade" album. (melodic symphonic black metal) and "draconian, pale tortured blue" gothic doom metal. (to try to change yer mind on doom 👌😉)
