so recently last summer i was camping with my family for a few days and we decided to go out in our rowboat on the lake at around 8pm. the sky was in that beautiful stage of changing from pink to purple to orange. i looked at the reflection of the sky in the water and it was amazing. like looking at the entire sky right below me. the water was so calm that the lake was practically a mirror. i felt myself wanting to tip myself out of the boat to "dive in the sky" and i legit for a second thought that i could. i just remember it as such a beautiful moment, and i understood this song in a brand new way. the water really felt alive. i get u now, tori. this song is way beautiful

I'm so thankful this song exists. I love this song so much for always being there for me when I need to find peace. I love everything about this song.. the lyrics, the vocals, the sound. I rarely ever comment on here but I just felt like writing this not caring if people will see this or not. I had a pretty rough day and I'm gonna put this on repeat tonight and fall asleep to it.
