This whole week, i took all of my kids tablests and phone. Instead, they read, played outside and spent time together watchijg Bible shows. And i prayed with them and did Bible study. This week was so much more peaceful for the kids and myself

First off: please link that trash can! Second off: when we switched to no nap we transitioned to “quiet time” where our son played in his room for the duration of what his nap was (for us it was two hours) and we set him up with books and toys and all that. Sometimes he’d end up falling asleep, or would just play. It really helped him learn independent play away from me and helped me get all my stuff done.

My 2.5 almost 3 year old is in a phase of no naps as well. He will sometimes take one and sometimes won’t. I wish he would some days but I enjoy the days even when he doesn’t. I do get tired those days and I just try to enjoy and embrace these days because they won’t last forever. 🤍

I like the trashcan! I recently hung my colorful tapestry back up. I took it down because I thought it looked too immature, like not something a 40 year old should have hanging in the house. But then I thought how ridiculous that is. If it sparks joy, that's what's important!

You mentioned that you enjoy listening to the Bible app like a podcast, and there is a KZbin channel called HeartDivewithKanoe, and she does daily Bible studies and walks through the whole entire Bible in a year. It has been blessing me, and I think it would enjoy it, too. I am a stay at home mommy of a 3 year old and a 6 month old, and it is a wonderful resource to add to my daily reading.
