for the price they are a GREAT pair of binoculars, my son has had them for 2 years now and they are a great entry set. light and really easy to use all day for anyone even 10 year old kids, only down side i see is the objective lense is very close to the end of the barrel, i was nervous first month or so but you just have to be careful. I recommend these as a great first set for anyhone

Hello, the comparison is great, I bought a 10x42 green Outland from Amazon in 2016, now I bought it from Aliexpress, it looks the same, but there is no popping sound when I turn the eyes and lift it up! What do you think? Is the green Outland 10x42 I bought from Aliexpress fake???

Which one is better 8x42 or 10x42 for birding?
@birdingoutdoors3 жыл бұрын
the 8x42 has a closer range and better for birding. check out my blog post for more info on this: birdingoutdoors.com/binoculars

Have you tried out DX ED 8x42? Wondering if it is worth the additional. Thanks.
@birdingoutdoors2 жыл бұрын
I've not tried out the ED version yet. But Extra Low Dispersion (ED) glass usually helps to lower the chromatic aberration in the lens. I find that with my pair without the ED, there isn't much chromatic aberration already.

Hi! For hot humid climate like Singapore, any signs of the rubbery material starting to become sticky? Also, are the lens fog proof?
@birdingoutdoors2 жыл бұрын
So far, no signs of it becoming sticky yet. Fog proof yes, and I never experienced fogginess when i used them.

Do you think 10x42 should be also good? In my country 8x42 are twice more expensive than 10x42.
@birdingoutdoors2 жыл бұрын
10x42 has a further range so you can see further. If you have steady hands or want to see far objects, then it's better. If you're going birding, 8x42 is better because it's easier to see birds up close

rubber body or plastic body?

It has a rubber body, you won't slip when holding onto it

Hello, I write from Argentina. I am using a translator. I want to buy a binocular that will serve me for all uses, both to go to the park with my daughters and to see the planets and galaxies. in my country these 2 models are sold (8x42 10x42 10x50): bushnell engage x and celestron nature dx. Could you please tell me which model between the two should I buy and to what extent? thank you!
@birdingoutdoors2 жыл бұрын
You need to get the 8x42 for close range like parks. And spotting scopes/telescopes to see planets and galaxies well because they have long range
