Been celibate since July in order to focus that energy on myself because my bf was using my energy and I was stuck… and it worked. And I released my 10.5 year relationship in October. I haven’t been single in 23 years and I had never felt that I was allowed to be focus my own energy on myself. I’m in healing hermit mode now…but I know that I will be celibate until I find my husband because no other will do. I know my worth. I know what I deserve. And to settle for anything less is certain death. He’s either going to add to my peace or I’ll stay single. Not playing around here. Zero tolerance for ego centered men. Heart centered or bust.

AMEN! I know my worth, and I have been celibate by choice since 11-2012. I thought that last man wanted a long-term commitment, but he was a trained therapist, so I forgive myself as I had a Traumatic Brain Injury, Before that Celibate since 02-28-2004. I have had 4 coffee dates, with men who said they wanted a commitment, it was only one date each. None were worth a 2nd date. Thank you very much.

My 4 years of celibacy as a man, and spending 3 years of solitude on a spiritual sabbatical anchoring divine feminine energy definitely validates this awesome message…. We can’t experience true fulfillment without freedom of our own expression. We must resist from doing anything from a sense of lack or needing, but instead express our freewill from the excitement and abundance to choose what is desired. I won’t lie neh, when I started dating the father of my child, I told him that I wanted to wait 3 months before we could be intimate, he basically forced me into having sex with him 3 weeks into us dating. That was the first way that he took my energy and power, and I was working overtime to gain it back. He had such a hold on me. I was desperate for his love and approval, that I would continue being intimate with him even when I didn’t want to, because that was the only time I felt that he cared about me. But it’s almost like immediately after, there would be something that he would use to be a complete jerk towards me. I was stuck in this loop for 6 years. My spirit guides worked over time to get him the hell away from me. I found out he was unfaithful, and although it hurt me and nearly broke me, it freed me. He nearly killed me. Like I was literally dying in that relationship. I see now how much I need to protect myself. I will never allow that to happen to me ever again. So thank you for this. I’ve been celibate since I left him. I’ve never been happier with myself. ❤

Yep I’m not proud of this but a few months back I met up with a guy I hadn’t seen in soooo long hoping we would click because he was one of the few “spiritual” people I knew. He was still into addiction though and I agreed to do a little with him… my body rejected him even while I was drunk and high. I COULD NOT. Also I’ve been sober and celibate since lol it was kind of a “last hoorah” for me (a very big lesson not to mess with my progress). He was so insecure. Gross lol

I've been celibate for 6 fuckin years and it was great, indeed feeling my power and strength! Then the last guy who i was intimate came back and i couldn't resist cause my whole body was calling him. Of course he left me once again. I am mad that i gave up my energy so easily. But it was a test! I spoke my truth and put some boundaries. before i was a people pleaser. Celibacy is not hard if this is only about rejecting what is not right for you. It may be uncomfortable to not find abundance of what is right for you and I can related to that. Unfortunately there is an extremely savage scarcity of the people that has the ability to fill my cup (or this is the narrative so far, for the good or for the better). What is hard is deciding not to engage in any solo sexual activities for the sake of allowing the energies to settle or reset without any further ripples.
