Outstanding cover from Erik. He win swedish Idol in 2009. Erik also was in the bands Heat and New Horizon together with Jona Tee here on keys. And recently quit Skid Row to take care of his health. Erik are also joining Michael Shenker on his Europe tour in 2025. I can recommend Eriks cover of Black Sabbath’s Headless cross, wich are one of his first covers and an absolute amazing one. 😀🇸🇪

See - this is why I give you so many videos to review. I never film myself when I am watching stuff so I just watch your expression and I can see exactly what I was thinking and feeling when I first saw this last week! i have never been a huge fan of the type of music Skid Row plays, so i did not know who this singer is. seeing and hearing this though, and going to hsi channel for a few listens, he's as good as all the rest. great range. jeff, yours is always a great channel for broadening one's horizons, and playlist. tyvm for posting. ☮❤🙏

This is Eric Carmen's song, he made and preformed it, Celine Dion made a cover of it, how's your knowledge? You should listen to Erik Grönwall sing Dolly Parton's I Will Always Love You, it's the best cover I heard since Whitney Huston did her cover. You should even look/listen to him sing Mariah Carey's Without You, John Farnham's You're the voice, they are also truly amazing! In 2009, Erik won Swedish Idol and performed the specially written song Higher in the final. On March 23, 2022, it was announced by Eddie Trunk that Grönwall is replacing ZP Theart as the lead singer of Skid Row. In March 2024, Erik announced that he was leaving Skid Row for health reasons after being diagnosed with leukemia. His first single, "Higher", reached gold on digital downloads after only three days. His debut album, self-titled Erik Grönwall, was released just ten days after the finals and debuted at number one on the Swedish albums chart and was certified platinum. Both as a solo artist and band member, Grönwall has numerous top 40 hits.

Yep, I've heard Eric Carmen's renditon but this guy is trying to compete with Celine Dion to see who can hit the highest note!! Not pleasing to my trained ear, either of them, but that's just my opinion
