Dear lord, these two really show you how good Celine is. The first girl, after Celine hits the huge note without the slightest hint of strain, simply turns and screams as loud as she can. The guy singing "The Prayer" was so overpowered by Celine, he just couldn't keep up.

I know that Celine is the queen, the best or whatever and I agree with you, but give those guys a chance!!! None of them wants to look or sound better than Celine! They know who they are singing with, and they are really blessed for that moment. They all did a terrific job!

I saw all the performances of that night and I think for the most part, they seemed to understand that they were sharing the stage with music royalty. Celine, for her part, was extremely gracious (as always) doing her harmony voice and not simply blowing them away. True story that Celine was easily old enough to be mother to most of them.. Celine's skill level is exponentially higher.

1) Vocally, Céline gave the best live performances of those songs that I’ve ever heard. 2) I think both of the “amateurs” were fantastic, given their level of experience and the sheer nerves singing next to a legend. 3) does anyone else think that the guy’s mic was turned down wayyy too low? Or maybe hers was too loud, I dunno, but his volume didn’t equalize properly even if his notes were spot on

This is like the most autotuned performance of her career. That being said, l'amour existe encore ain't the best here. The raw 2011 version is still better somehow

My point exactly ... I have understanding for all these young talented singers, but it starts to anger me when they 'try' to show that they can over power Celine and then I start to laugh when it happenis just like you said in you comment ... LOL when will these youngsters learn you cannot beat someone like her ... P.S. Celine's 44 and the girl in L'mour existe encore is like 20 and Celine still overpowers her ..."SHIVERS DOWN MY SPINE"

As for the girl in L'Amour Existe Encore, she should have known better. She set herself up for that comparison. Celine nailed that note, no hint of strain. The girl simply screamed. It was a very bad moment.

I really like the guy that sang with her but I really didn't like the girl's voice, at least not for that song. She sounds way too smoky for it.
