What this performance would have sounded like had the sound crew not messed it all up, nothing major done to the vocal just a little reverb and compression!

Celine Dion is seriously a true legend and one of the true talents this world still has left. I hope she recovers from her illness and returns to her loyal loving fans. She sang this true to how it was intended. She didnt need any tech, she's a professional. ❤

Very professional doesn't do have any scandal. On top of it all, the kindest and most humble genuine human being there is. She is number one.

I remember watching this performance live. At the time, I thought she was so professional and knocked it out of the park in spite of the technical difficulties. Years later, hearing the news about her illness, I searched this performance up. The way she intentionally discards the earbuds like… if y’all can’t handle this… I’m just going to do this the way I know how. Raw and real with an amazing sense of pitch and rhythm. Celine the OG. Just inspiring.

Honestly this is how we should all strive to be as humans- no matter what is thrown at us, no matter when the latest advances in technology have failed, even when the most qualified of other folks are at the helm doing their ever most, you gotta be able to just dismiss it all. Not with shade or animosity- just carry on. Cause in life we have horrible things thrown at us, our friends and family do all they can….but they are human too and they only want to help. But just like this performance, it came down to the one person who had to carry on- no tricks or help - and boy did she deliver. This one goes down in the books as how the greatest keep on.

My father passed the day before Christmas eve and 2 days before his birthday and i may be 41 years old but I may as well have been a 4 year old child feeling lost and all alone its like he took me with him when he took that last breath in our living room in that awful hospital bed next to pur glittering Christmas tree that night. Im so very broken now and I don't know how to live or who I am now so try as I might I had to stop watching this video because I was crying so hard. There's nothing left of me now. To anyone who may read this if you have resentments with your dad or unspoken words SAY THEM NOW dont waste or squander one more second time with them is so very finite and you cant go back once they are gone. Love them now while you still can.

Note the standing ovation and the Wows. Every performer knows how difficult it is to sing in an auditorium without ear pieces. Add to that only a piano accompaniment. Then to have other technical/sound glitches, and she gave a performance like that? That's when many of them realized she's is a completely different league.

She’s naturally talented. Singing like this to her is fairly easy, or was. She was simply born to sing, and in a very humble way, she knows the caliber of her talent, she knew she didn’t need absolutely anything to sound great. She is such an amazing vocalist!❤
