101 BLEACHING BROWS: AVOIDING CHEMICAL BURNS AND NO YELLOW TINT!

Hello Lovebirds!
It's not my first go at bleaching brows! I was taught by Lorin V & Siko van Berkel at my hair course in 2016, bleached brows on set and I've done it to myself from Oct 2018 until may of this year! I thought it would be fun to go bleached again!

Now this tutorial is for those who are patient enough, who don't want irritated skin afterwards, that don't want chemical burns or hair falling out!
Products required:
Blue Bleach Powder - Think of L'Oreal Quick Blue
6% Developing Fluid - This will work for most people and won't cause chemical burns if you put it on for the required amount of time! 6% is equal to 20 VOL. Some people are okay with 30 vol but please pay attention to what you're feeling.
Vaseline or Elisabeth Arded 8 Hours cream. Anything super greasy will work!
A Spoolie + Bowl
Tissues
Cellophane foil
Warning: itchiness is fine. A burning sensation means it's hurting your skin! Take off the bleach immediately. I've seen a lot of people on youtube attempting at home bleaching and to no one's surprise, they've gotten chemical burns for not paying close enough attention. Please be careful with yourself!

I bleached my brows platinum blonde every week for 3 years straight! Ugh I miss them so much! I used to also fill in my brows with a platinum blonde looking eyeshadow. I'm Asian and Hispanic and naturally my hair is almost jet black and very thick/coarse. I originally bleached them to match my white/platinum bleached short haircut I had for about a year. Then I died my hair back to black but I wasn't ready to let go of my bleached brows cuz I had fallen in love with them! 😍 So I continued to have bleached brows for the next two years, I wanted to keep them longer but a guy I started talking to at the time made me get rid of them which I was so sad about 😭 I felt like he didn't just let me be myself and accept my creativity with makeup and fashion.

Finally did this following your video and it turned out AMAZING. I’ve been wanting to pull off the alien look since I was 15 and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Mine look a bit yellow still but that was to be expected since it’s the first time I bleach them and my eyebrows are very very dark and thick, but they work perfectly well nonetheless! I also left the bleach a on for only 20 minutes instead of 25 just to be extra careful, because I was using 30 volume 9% developer. Overall, amazing results. Thank you so much for the tutorial

Just bleached my brows and your tutorials were really useful! I did it twice in two days because I wanted them to be very pale (my brows are black, and they turned very yellow the first time). It might have been a bad idea! Because the second time, it was burning... a lot!! Still, I left the bleach for about 15 minutes. I'm fine, but will wait before bleaching again... oops. 4 years ago you and this Asian stylist taught me how to bleach my eyebrows. (TRIGGER WARNING referenceing sa). Someone did fucked up stuff to me and after it they stared at my face marvelling at my bleached brows. So I let them go black. … I had been bleaching my brows ever since I saw your videos for years. But I didn’t want to have something on me to remind me of him that he “loved”. That happened 9-12 months ago and now I’m rebleaching my brows at 4am and listening to Mac millers new album... Reclaiming what belongs to me. Counter orange with blue shampoo. Purple shampoo only works on yellow and light yellow

I think it will!! Just know that the lower vol/% you go, the longer it has to stay on to fully bleach but there’s also less hazard of harming your skin! ❤️

Yes, sorry bb :( or, u can just be very very careful and try to avoid ur acne as much as possible. If it starts to burn take it off immediately!
