The reason Z 17 was always gonna be a separate character is because he’ll have completely different interactions on top of the attacks. If it was just the supers they were gonna change, an outfit would work but 17 (Super)’s voice lines, intros, etc. wouldn’t work with the Z variant so I was always expecting him in a separate slot, even though it kinda sucks.

The V Jump scans look like another rivals/ story theme. As for Android 17 I understand the difference but honestly they can make Z & Super be different while being on the same slot. The green aura in Super I don't remember being there in Z for 17 but I'll have to re-look to make sure. So that might be one the biggest differences besides his Special moves. DBGT 17 doesn't need anything different because both 17's have been 17's main costumes since DBZ Budokai 1, 2, & 3. It's just a Trenchcoat plus their red eyes in DBGT. But it would be nice to fuse into Super 17 as none of the console games allowed that. Maybe Legends, Dokkan, & SDBH. That trunks had some strange info on his Super or ultimate move because it said something about transformation will increase its power. But it's hard to interpret what that means. As if you can transform during the move. But the sword also has a glow that looks different and his hair looks different slightly.

Z 17 and Super are utterly different from each other. They fight differently, they have different personalities and different dialogues. Super 17 is basically the embodiment of how far 17 came as a character. If we about to make this argument along with the other pointless “concerns.” And as for characters being shown. This is pretty much the equivalent of people wanting their cake and trying to eat it too. Character roster have not been confirmed AT ALL. We been assuming the number amount of characters just because of the slots in the trailer. for all we know, there are a whole lot more characters than what's being presented. and as for the Father Son Kamehameha thing……omg 😂🤦🏾‍♂️

I can name more than 6 different attacks Android #17 used. Accel Dance, Photon Flash, Accel Driver, Power Blitz, Grand Explode, Barrier Punch. (+ Super Electric Strike, if we count video game only moves) I cannot do the same for Krillin. Destructo Disc, Kamehameha, and Scatter Bullet are all present. The other moves like Afterimage and Solar Flare are skills instead of supers (because they're utility moves). Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure I just named Krillin's entire arsenal.
