I love how t mobile is the only one company that doesn't lock their base station

Yeah and it was a nasty site.

Hey for the record they have extended there coverage more
@Browningate8 жыл бұрын
GladiatorGaming No. Neither here nor there have they done that. They did start rolling out a lower frequency LTE in many markets, which does propagate further, but I don't think they've actually expanded the network at all.

***** Hmm maybe not in your area but if you look at before and after coverage maps you'll notice a big difference maybe its because T-Mobile doesn't want to spend money on upgrading a tower
@Browningate8 жыл бұрын
GladiatorGaming Lower frequency LTE goes a long way in signal propagation. Still doesn't help when there isn't actually a tower there to deliver it though. Also, its what? Its flavor? Its color? Its smell? Don't leave me hanging!

Since when did Cricket have their own base station? I thought they were an MVNO of AT&T and used their network.

T-Mobile has came a long way since this video. Their new cabinets look nothing like these old Purcell cabinets. The door was also locked but he probably had a hex key or can wrench that will open it.

It’s shocking how frequently the same code is used.

where are you guys located at? I work for a company out of chino and I have worked on Verizon sites and at&t sites. I have a vast amount of knowledge of peeping sites with the comscopes and LTE cabinets.
@techkenX9 жыл бұрын
I don't work for that company anymore. but you can checkout mastec or sba communication.
@skdt54099 жыл бұрын
+David Willock thanks I appreciate that but where are you located now? you must've left those companies because either they were losing work or they weren't cutting it.

Does the tower have to be "powered down" at all for it to be safe to enter the site?
@techkenX3 жыл бұрын
nope the tower is live 100% of the time.
@captainkris6526 жыл бұрын
dude. i love cell towers! they are really cool, but they can cause cancer. you really rock, but plz for your safety, d'ont come close to those towers. :)
@Elfnetdesigns6 жыл бұрын
No they don't. I been working on cell, 2-way radio and broadcast FM and TV towers for 30 years now and I am cancer free, and keep in mind a broadcast tower puts out a fuckton more RF than 50 cell sites at once.... Besides they are on the ground and the radiating elements / panels are up there 150 - 200 feet or better.. What would be a concern for me would be why is my crew NOT wearing hardhats while on a site..
