Just for you Lori!! well, and everyone else LOl I'm so sorry, it took me longer than I thought it would! This was a hard stitch to film as it is sculptural and doesn't show well when the camera is pointed straight down as mine is. It really needs a second camera to shoot from the side but I made the best of it. I will never forget this stitch haha I have it ingrained in my brain from all the "takes" The most difficult part is the step up so I did it a couple of times without talking (if you haven't watched it yet) :) Have fun and I am around for questions and encouragement :)

Your voice was missed very much on this one :) And tell the little "uninvited guest" that landed on your bead mat towards the end to come get the rest of his family. They are here at my house & land on my bead mat quite frequently in the evening!!!! Haha!!!!! Much love...... :)

GREAT video, Stephanie! I have tried and tried and tried this Cellini spiral, and I'm just a major fail at it. And I would consider myself an advanced beader!! This one just escapes me, for some reason. You make it look so easy! I've vowed to keep trying, now. I think I always just use the wrong bead sizes. But I'm going to do it exactly as you say, and I feel like I'll be successful this time. Thank you! :-)

G'Day My Adorable Partner in Beading, This would have to be among my most favourite bead designs as you know from the necklace that I have done and sent a picture to you. It's so versatile as you can use any beads to make this stitch. I used 4 mm fire polish beds instead of 6/0's and you can make the spiral different widths and lengths by just changing the amount of beads you use. Love the Hematite necklace.....so you and the colours of the other one are so festive just right for you lucky ones in the far North to make and wear on your long Summer days and warm evenings. I nearly fell out of my chair when you said that you would stop talking....they were the most spooky moments that I have had to sit through!!!! I didn't think that you would last as long as you did.....well done by the way but don't frighten me again like that......I love listening to you and hearing your laughter!! Not a fan of silent videos. It's bad enough to have to watch some of those non English videos where you have to stop and start on every move they make to understand what they are doing. Talk and talk my little bear...I love it !!!!! I have the pleasure to announce that I have now completed the first of my Grand Challenge Designs. The second one that I have done is almost at the finish line (tonight or tomorrow I hope to have it done). I will wait to send a pictures of it till you have completed yours. This will be a short novel ( I can hear the sigh of relief but not to worry I will send you a novel shortly) as I have to get Carla (our oldest dog) as she has a Vet's appointment. It's time for her yearly back injection. picture this.... it would be like pulling Mount Everest through a number 12 beading needle just to get her in through the door. She doesn't mind the injection and when it's time to leave she pulling on the door handles and using her nose to push the doors open to get to get out. And then we get home the silent treatment for the rest of the night because of were we took her!!!!! Think of me my friend. So I will love and leave for now my little polar bear.... from freezing wet Down Under......many Blessings XXXXOOOOOO

Well G'Day to your my Amazing Friend from the Land of the Beautiful Tulips, The one thing that I have grown fond of when it comes to computers is that it has opened up the world and has connected me to the most wonderful and loving people. There are no boundaries and bias towards anyone. It's so amazing to find such fabulous people who share in the love of beading. The world is like a mansion with many, many rooms that are connected by doors and long hall ways that leads and connects to all those rooms. Each one I walk down and open a door there is always an a beautiful person there and the door I have just opened... I found you. I love the wonderful way in which we are exposed to the creative videos of the gorgeous ladies that work so hard to teach and share in their creativity. To be able to write comments and share each of our thoughts and work with not only these wonderful ladies but to find the most amazing fellow beaders is simply a little slice of heaven!! In a world that is so troubled it's warming to know that there are those who see and feel and share true friendship. It made my night my little tulip that my long winded novels and funny little ways brings such joy and happiness to you. As you can guess apart from my love of beading my next love is "talking/writing". My family keeps saying that they are going to take out my batteries....as you can see they haven't "yet". I love to be around people and I treasure their friendship most highly. To share my knowledge (if I have some) then I love to share it among my treasured friends. I am always telling my family about the fantastic people that I have meet on line. And even now they are starting to know who I am talking about. I already know that you are a very special lady who has a wonderful warm and loving heart with a beautiful soul.....you too are my special friend from from the Land of the Beautiful Tulips and are among the members of my International Family which makes me feel honored know you and my other friends. Thank you for your kinds words and I will keep writing novels to bring smiles to you and who ever else wants to read them and you can send me a novel or two when ever you see my name. And so from a freezing, wet and windy night Down Under, I wish you my little Tulip....many Blessings......XXXXXXOOOOOO

Hello my Sweetie!!! I have been inundated with busy beady and non-beady things the past few weeks!!! So nice to connect again Chris! I have missed you so much! Many interesting and challenging things have been happening in my life lately that have eclipsed my beading creativity for most of the month of July!!! However, the search for my elusive muse is coming to an end as I have seen glimpses of her here and there (in my dreams mostly) Hopefully she will hang around as I really need her right now lol : ) I re-read a couple of your "meditations" for some clarity and inspiration...you are always a great help to me honey - really! Thank you for watching this tutorial as I know you are already proficient in most beading stitches. So kind of you to take the time to leave a very sweet and positive comment as you always do! I am still working on "our masterpiece" I just received some Druzy cabochons that I want to incorporate in the design - its not going to be Knock-your-socks-off amazing but it will be inspired by our mutual love of the craft! So take care my Wonder from Down Under -Kerstin posted a short novella for both of us to read...hugsxxx
@chrisphillips18938 жыл бұрын
And a "big" Hello to you my most wonderful Master of the Beads, I have written back to Kerstin (below) and it was so nice to hear from her and as you can see we have another fabulous friend reading our witty novels.... Nilza from the Netherlands. (she has written above). I just love meeting these lovely ladies and to think it all started when you posted your amazing videos and connected to us and has lead to so many of us coming together not just for beading but for the wonderful fellowship that has joined us all together. My Muse at the moment is racing so far ahead of me that I can't keep up with her and I can send her to you for a little holiday to help you and to give my little grey cells a much needed rest lol. I am glad that my "meditations" are at the ready to help you and inspire you when your muse takes a holiday. Lucky you with all that wonderful warmth around you (I have already given Kerstin my thoughts on you lucky Northerners). It is freezing here and I am turning a nice shade of "blue"... and I now think that my fingers have now turned to little chubby icicles!!!!!!!!!!! Enjoy frolicking among the Summer heat and the lazy warm evenings......you lucky little bear!!!. An up date to the great "VET VISIT" yesterday, all went just as I said it would and now we have to repeat this three more times over the next three weeks....OH I am so over the moon happy and and can't wait till next Monday!!!!!!! HA HA LOL! She has decided to talk to us again and now sits with loving eyes and cuddles so for now all has been forgiven and that her nasty mum and dad wont take her back there again!!!! After this little episode within a few months we will be back for the normal check up and injections and this time it will be with both her and Hollie...it will be such a wonderful time when every ones building up to the excitement of Christmas and our two girls will be throwing daggers of dislike and not talking to us for the cruel treat we have imposed on them with a "Christmas treat to the Vets" You master piece has me very intrigue and I can't wait to see it. Like all of your work it will so masterfully crafted and will knock off everyone's socks. You have a very high standard of creative ideas and that's why you have so many admirers. Own your creativity my little bear as you have indeed earned the title of "Master of the Beads". Have you ever noticed the amount of postings you have under each of your videos. Have a look and look at others who post videos (I have) and found that you are indeed way up at the top of the beading world. The other factor to your success is your natural down to earth way in which you explain so clearly and the laughter and suggestions in the manner in which you present your videos. Well my little polar bear of the deliciously warm Northern Zone I said I would send you my next novel and so here it is....enjoy and to Kerstin and Nilza if you read this too then I hope that I have made your day also. Now I am going to dive into a large bowl of hot steaming soup and try to thaw out this chubby little blue body and wait to hear from you. Many Blessings little bear.........XXXXXOOOO

Haha 😂 I really thought there was something wrong with my youtube connection. Couldn't believe that there could be a Stephanie Video without talking. I really love each of your pieces and I'm a big fan of your work, but don't do this again 😉. Love this cellini in hematite. I'm not beading a lot at the moment because finally summer has arrived here in Germany (🌞YAY🌞) and the kids are enjoying their big holidays. So we are most of the time outside, but there is always a little bit of time for one of your videos or a novel of our sweet Chris (hi Chris, hope everything is fine there at down under) Sunny hugs to both of you 😎😘🌴

Hahaha!!! I love you Kerstin :) So funny...Being quiet on the video was the hardest thing I've ever done lol! More difficult than the Cellini Spiral! I don't think I could do it again - so on't worry lol :) I'm so glad that summer has arrived for you. We've been having a beastly hot summer here in the Northeast US. I'm almost ready for Fall's cooler temperatures! We've had 95F and up (35c I had to look that up) and I don't have central air conditioning!!! Yes, where is our Chris? I have been a little late on my replies to our lovely descriptive writer of long and enjoyable narratives - so I'll get on it and see how she is doing! Hugs and beady love to you Kerstin - enjoy the lovely weather

Well G'Day My Two little Munchkins from the Wonderful Tropical Zone, It would be great to feel Summer clocking me in in her wonderfully heavenly warmth. To enjoy the long lazy days and gentle night breezes drifting over me as I lay listening to the musical rhythms of crickets singing their nightly chorus. To sense the wonderful aroma of a Summer's night....and most importantly to be able to feel my "feet"!!!!!!! As I am (with a very hot cup of coffee in my hands to keep them from turning to ice) sitting here tuck under my heated throw rug with layers of clothes and two pairs of socks with the wind blowing at gale force (and at the moment no rain and the sun shinning and trying to warm up my little part of the world) I feel a little jealous of my lucky little Munchkins frolicking in the warmth of Summer. I would say that it's safe to assume that "I HATE WINTER" and I am so glad that we are almost to Spring...which here is just a tad better than Winter but not by much!!!!!! I will take Spring over Winter though. I am with you Kerstin, when our wonderful Master of the Beads went silent I thought the world had ended. It was so spooky!!!! I was so glad to hear her take a breath and continue to talk. It was so good to hear from you and I hope to hear from you soon. As we say here don't for get to "slip...slop...slap" . It's the three golden rules of Summer Down Under and it means....."slip" on a top...."slop" on the sun scream and "slap" on a hat when adventuring out into the sun. Enjoy the long wonderful days my friend and think of your little "blue freezing mate" from the frozen zone Down Under......Blessings......XXXXXOOOOOO

I love that you work with gemstone beads in your designs. Do you think a Cellini spiral would work with graduated gemstone bead sizes (2mm, 3mm and 4mm)? I know that that the spherical gemstone beads vs barrel shape of seed beads doesn't allow them to lock into place as well in some designs.
@BronzeponyBeadedJewelry8 жыл бұрын
Hi and thanks for the nice comment😀 Using 2,3, and 4mm gemstone beads will give you a gentle curve rather than a very sculptural piece. I think it would look great. If you want to get the really bumpy look add a 15/0 or 11/0 seed bead in there somewhere!

Really looking forward to the grey Cellini spiral necklace as my next project. I'm in the process of ordering materials, however, I'm a bit confused about what exactly is required for the black and grey spiral. I've reviewed the materials list that includes the turquoise Picasso and Hematite Heaven Cellini Spiral list at the bottom, and am still confused. Are the 2mm Swarovski Bicones part of the necklace? If so, how many? Can you please clarify what is required for the Hematite Heaven Cellini Spiral version? Thanks for the great videos. Can't wait to get started.
@BronzeponyBeadedJewelry8 жыл бұрын
Hi Debra😃 I'm so glad you are going to make this necklace! The materials list and bead numbers for the Hematite Heaven bead colors are under the Spiral Path necklace tutorial. The 2mm bicones are used to decorate the openings at the ends of the necklace. You will need 10-12 I think for each side. Hope this helps🌻

Hi Stephanie: Looks like there are about 30 humps. What is the total length of the necklace? Although it is a personal preference, for this pattern longer would be better?
@BronzeponyBeadedJewelry8 жыл бұрын
The Hematite Heaven bead sequence necklace is 16 inches of Cellini Spiral and about 3-4 inches of fire polished beads at the end. This one looks better as a shorter necklace because the humps are small and all even. If you make the graduated Cellini necklace "Spiral Path" tutorial on my channel, then longer - about 20 - 24 inches looks about right.

about how many hematite beads did you use on your necklace? and what lenght is it?
@BronzeponyBeadedJewelry8 жыл бұрын
I have no idea how many beads I used! The Flat Cellini Spiral Bracelet used 110 for my 6 inch beaded portion of my bracelet. The size of the necklace is 17 1/2 inches including the end beads and clasp.

Hi, I love your work. Do you have a video that would show me how make make a coin shape using seed beads?
@BronzeponyBeadedJewelry8 жыл бұрын
Thanks😃 I'm not sure what you mean by coin shape out of seed beads. Could you give me some details?

Oh I think I got it. Like a mandala? I will look for a pattern for you for right now. I'll also put it on my request list for a tutorial :) I am not at my studio right now so I will post later.

+private91205 Sorry it took a while to get back to you 🙃 Circular peyote would give you a flat piece. I don't have a tutorial for it right now but I'm sure you can google Flat Peyote and something will come up. Also, Carol Huber Cypher's book called Mastering Beadwork has a flat peyote mandala pattern.

I got cut off short on the last comment. Sorry. Anyway you picked up an 11/0 then stepped up. I learned you should do it after you pick up the first 15/0. But visibly on the video what you did looked like it worked. Please clarify. Thanks.

Dr. Carmen Caltagirone Each time I stepped up, I stepped up through a 15/0. I started with 2 rows of 15/0’s (I put on my needle four 15/0’s to start) I always step up through the first 15/0 I put on so I will be coming out of the 11/0 before I step up through the first 15/0. I hope that makes some sort of sense 🙏😃🌻

Ha thanks Sharon😆 This is a challenging stitch but very doable for a beginner with a little peyote experience. Oh and no more silent moments during a video lol I promise 🌻😀🤓

you have great instructions, but you lower your voice at the important steps or your hands go off camera at the step I really need to see. very frustrating at times. your work is awesome.

Sorry Mary😃. I don't mean to lower my voice or go out of frame! Sometimes it just happens and I can't help it😉 I'm not terrific with the camera but I'm working on it everyday🌷🌷🌷
