This is a truly fantastic rendition. I stumbled upon this because I‘ll gonna play this very soon (late beginner). Will take me a while to play even remotely as well. Thank you, Lucy and Nicola.

@@protect_provide8031 I was 66 when I took up the cello last year, my life-long dream instrument. Lucky to have a good cello on which my wife studied before she switched to singing. I should have started decades earlier, but - as an experienced guitar player - I stupidly was afraid of the missing frets. Not unexpectedly, my guitar experience helps an awful lot. And having a brilliant teacher. We‘ll start playing the 3rd movement in tomorrow‘s lesson. Of course, I don’t play remotely as well as Lucy and Nicola, but good enough to make me quite happy and a bit proud after only 14 months of weekly lessons.
