I'm so happy that I listened to my gut instinct by holding myself off from being tempted into buying yet "just another cello library" (such as the latest Tina Gou iteration, for example, which is fine if you need that same generic thing like its many contemporary peers), and instead patiently awaited until THIS exceptional library came into fruition. It was beckoning and destined to be made, in order to finally meet those long-desired finer nuances in expressiveness and a more intuitively creative interfacing via dynamically-triggered articulation gradients that always seemed to be "not quite there" and/or often strifled by regimented, static, robotic workflows amongst the horde of the sound-alike also-rans littering the VST/plug-in/sample instrument market. Competitors, take note. Insanity Samples actually appears to pay very close attention to what music creators have been desperately asking for so long. Such as when it comes to solo string instruments, in this particular case. Truly a brilliant diamond and a niche stand-out! It puts to shame many cello sample libraries TWICE or even THRICE the asking price. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making this. I bought it within mere hours of its release, after cautiously and initially skeptically pouring through the walkthroughs and demos. FYI for readers of this brief review: I am not a paid sales rep, affiliate, or associate of any sort. Just a demanding music creator who has grown wary of dishing out hard-earned cash for dozens of the same-old same-old.

Hello,I listened carefully to the long notes and you can hear very clearly the natural rebows in the samples. In practical terms, if I'm not mistaken, this means that after two or three seconds, you'll hear a return of the bows which 90% of the time will be horrible because it's not in tempo. I was fooled by a Spitfire library. On the other hand, if you can remove this, or decide when the bow return occurs, I might be interested in this product.

Would have liked to see a bit more versatility in using this plugin. The instrument sounds great but the music demos never show possible uses in any other styles of music. jmo.
