Cells of the Nervous System (Neurons and Glia)

Dr. Mike explains what neurons and glia do within the Nervous System.
He highlights the basic structure of a neuron and classifies glia according to their location within either the CNS or PNS.
e.g. oligodendricytes, ependymal cells, astrocytes, microglia, schwann cells, and satellite cells.

Hi Mike! I would like to thank you for taking time to share with such great pedagogy. Your work is being of great help for those like myself studying with Atlases, books and online classes. The Neuroanatomy videos on here are simplified versions of what is taught in medical papers which I am doing. each short video on here summarises key point which are covered in detail by lectures and chapters of information which students are expected to know. these videos are great supplement to the material, but definitely don't cover EVERYTHING a medical student has to learn.
