How to generate Ideas to speak spontaneously for a minute to cover the grading criteria

I think generating the ideas is what makes CELPIP speaking so difficult, but keep in mind that the number of ideas only counts for 1/16 of your score. That means you can get a high score as long as you fulfill the other 15/16. In other words, express yourself clearly, respond with a clean structure (introduction, ideas, conclusion), use complex sentences with a light sprinkling of phrasal verbs, and appropriate grammatical structures (conditionals, subjunctives, sequencing tenses). Hope that gives you some encouragement.
