When you look back on all what happened that year, it was a pivotal moment. Rangers 15 point lead had been reduced to one point (so the Rangers rot had set in) that goal by Ledley may have been the most important goal ever for Celtic. Celtic went on to win the league by 20 points and Rangers went into administration and were then liquidated. If Rangers had won this match we'd be on a completely different space, time, continuum as Doc Brown from Back to the Future would say! 🍀

Let's put this who sang YNWA to bed once and for all. I've been following Celtic since the early 60s and I remember Celtic played Liverpool over 2 legs in the European Cup Winner's Cup in 1966. It was indeed the Liverpool fans who originally started singing it. The DJ/announcer played the Gerry & The Pacemakers version at half-time during a match at Anfield and the Kop started singing along. Celtic didn't start singing the famous song from Carousel until a few seasons later.
