I think most of the negativity I see is based on what the club are doing not the team and it's important to separate that. We can all see we're a few additions away from being a seriously good team. The sorta team that might actually be a challenge for people in Europe. This is a swansong season for a lot of those guys I bet. Guys that have given us an amazing few years. It's only right we back this core group with guys of a similar level. They've earned it.

We’re a couple of players from having a proper squad… and we still have a couple of weeks before the window closes. And in the pitch we look electric. The first 20 minutes Daizen was unplayable he was sublime, not that he didn't continue to be good after that as he played great for his hour or so on the pitch but he started like a train and was brilliant to watch. The team as a whole played well the booking for CCV wasn't even a foul and from the free kick Hibs score which was a total injustice and I think the disastrous pass back which their keeper hit off Kuhn and into the net for our third goal was justice for what happened to our big centre back. My wife had never been to a Celtic game before and I took her today and she's hooked, she wants a season ticket now but she'll wait a while as we're not taking new applications with over 30,000 already waiting for one.

Good performance from Maeda playing through the middle , pace , tenacity and determination. A great player when he's switched on. Lacks composure at times. Khun was good as well today. Hibs desperately need a couple of results and performances or they'll go into free fall on what was served up this afternoon. Good show again Paul.

I like the way Kuhn plays in different positions he has been rotating in either direction he goes he just keeps on pushing it playing forward it absolutely amazing the way he run in the pitch when he has the ball just to keep the pace and also he should pass when he’s on a run

Spot on, very surprised at the analysis that Taylor was good today. I’d have had him as our worst starter today. Everything Hibs offered came down Taylor’s wing as he failed to win headers, tackles or block crosses. A few mediocre passes as an extra man in the middle of the park doesn’t make up for his glaring deficiencies.
