Thank you for the inspiration. Whilst I didn't replicate yours precisely, it inspired me to have a try at my own take on it. My first attempt was good (husband loved it!) and I'm going to have more plays with it to see how else I can build on this design. Thank you, once again.

I absolutely love this, I would love to try to make this, your tutorial is easy to follow, but I will have to wait on trying this...having issues with my hands at the moment, until then I will enjoy looking at your other projects. Thx for sharing.

Beautiful! I’m brand new at making wire jewelry. :) If you were to wire wrap beads to the cross or affix them some way other than glue, how would you do it?
@LindaJonesWireJewellery
@LindaJonesWireJewellery Ай бұрын
You would use 0.4mm (26gauge) to connect them on to the centre.

Where did you get your flat nose pliers? I have one but they are pointy I see your's is a wider one I would love to get it :)
@LindaJonesWireJewellery

You can purchase Flat Nose Pliers from any online bead and tool supplier, including 'amazon'. I usually purchase my tools from www.cooksongold.com/Jewellery-Tools/Flat-Nose-Pliers-135mm,-Value-Range-prcode-999-3051 But you'll find many other versions elsewhere too! If your pliers are pointy, they are not flat nosed pliers, they are called CHAIN NOSED PLIERS. Chain nosed, are very useful for smaller more intricate work. I hope that helps. :-)

Simple and lovely. I’m going to make it in copper, darken it with LOS and give it a nice leather cord…it will make a nice gift for a man. Thanks so much!

I am guessing this is being filmed in a European venue. We don't use the term "binding wire," that I have ever heard, first off. What is your definition of binding wire? What GAUGE is it, most importantly. And, of course, we need to know what is the composition? Is it solid sterling silver or silver covered copper or brass or what? "0.4 wire" also means nothing to your American audience PROBABLY. (Of course, someone in some other state will, no doubt, pop up and tell me THEY know what it is! But, generally speaking, American video instructions always give the GAUGE.)

Thank you for your enquiry and I will try to answer all your questions. I am based in the U.K. I am not an American. I used the term 'binding wire' as I am binding with it. However, it really doesn't matter what gauge it is, as long as it's easy enough to bind or wrap with. I personally use 0.4mm gauge, which is 26 gauge in the U.S. You can choose any wire you wish, Sterling Silver or, as I did in this video, silver-plated copper wire. If you would like an approximate gauge chart, this might help: 28 gauge = 0.3mm 26 gauge = 0.4mm 24 gauge = 0.5mm 22 gauge = 0.6mm 20 gauge = 0.8mm 18 gauge = 1mm I do hope that helps!
