In an ideal world you’d make the whole jock stein lower safe standing but then there are folks in that section who wouldn’t want to give up their seat that they’ve possibly had for years🤷‍♂️

Designated Ultras sections can also have a negative effect on the atmosphere. The Ultras go through their repertoire with constant drumming, new songs and overly complex songs that don't exactly get the heart pumping and it's not spontaneous. The rest of the stadium can feel like they're not included. It's best when the atmosphere ebbs and flows with the game. If the team's doing the business then the stadiums rocking. If they're not then we can let them know by showing frustration.

When the Porto stadium was first opened the end behind the goals was for both the Super Dragões group and the Collectivo 95 .. however after the first season the Collectivo asked to move to the opposite side of the stadium .. think friction between the two groups caused this ... not saying that the Bhoys and the Green Brigade would do likewise... but it could happen ...

First of all, many teams in Europe have whole stands for their Ultras. Secondly, there is nothing to stop fans anywhere in the stadium from shouting and screaming. I know sitting down kind of spoils it....but you still can. I spoke to a Bratislava fan who couldnt believe the noise level. Imagine Celtic in Europe with a whole stand of Ultras and a capacity of 75,000 (if the old stand was upgraded. Every team in Europe would be scared to come.
