He said the man involved, not the man's spouse, was possessed by a demon and then rambled on that Satan was my master like the stupid person he is. I guess there's a demon in the church, then, in the form of a christian. Total idiot and he needs his ass handed to him. It is so crusty and crunchy...the chromatic riffs are almost hardcore punk. Greatness. It is raw but kind of hard to play because of little odd timing details- it may not be technical, but yet it is sort of. Tom was an original - unorthodox but amazing in his own way. One of the great heavy guitar sounds ever, one of the first to sing in that dark growl, solid and fat sounding rhythm section. I can't stand over-production, so this is right up my alley. It shows that at that time this was music for fanatics by fanatics. Tom and Eric wrote interesting lyrics too- Google the lyrics to classic Celtic Frost sometime. Definitely a cut above in that sense I think. If they were all professional virtuoso musicians, the music would not be nearly as interesting or high impact as it is. I still listen to early Frost.

I found the Hellhammer: Apocalyptic Raids EP at My local record store. I was looking for new metal bands with with evil looking covers, that's how I could tell they were good. LOL That EP was the ugliest, dirtiest, most primal metal music I had heard up to that point in 83 . Those songs still play through my memory. Evoked Damnation stands out. I had Show No Mercy and Black Metal and Hear Nothing, See Nothing, Say Nothing burned into my brain by then. My friends did not accept punk at all at that point even though Discharge pretty much birthed all the heavy shit that came after them. Metal or Punk. Walked into the same record store after reading in Kerrang that Hellhammer had changed the name to Celtic Frost and saw the cover for Morbid Tales and bought it up. I got it home and put it on and....Holy shit that was heavy stuff. I sill listen to that record. Visions Of Mortality stands out. Listen to Procreation Of The Wicked. That is the sludgiest, evil sounding thing I have ever heard to this day. Nocturnal Fear is a combo of Discharge and a Motley Crue song. Strange Acid trip to that one and Danse Macabre Saw them with Voi Vod, I Think, at Fender's Ballroom in Long Beach and they were strange dudes, but what a good show. They made a couple more albums after that which I didn't pay much attention to but were along the same lines. Still went to see them when they came through LA a few times after that. Then came Cold Lake and they completely shit the bed and tried to go glam or some crap. I guess they wanted to get chicks to their shows or something but Tom Warrior was an Ugly dude so....NOT. Discharge did the same thing with Grave New World. That is a real Piece of SHIT. Not sure what my point is....So ummmmm....Yeah. I know...Go Back to bed Grampa.

Religious people are one of the first to condemn others for being satanic or blasphemous and it's not their place to do so. Condemning others is an act of supremacy as if they are the most high and can judge and belittle others for not sharing their views. Until they can walk on water they are just as normal as everybody else. They have no business preaching or condemning, they don't know it all but most like to think they do.

One night a buddy calls me up and says hey do you got a car let's go down to North and see your show so the Nork in this case is Newark New Jersey we lived one town over a small club called studio One actually had three floors of different types of music and a great venue had a show upon arriving I was so lucky and fortunate enough to find out it was Celtic Frost opening for the one and only King diamond what a great show. If wondering I'm thinking this was early 90s.

@joaomarreiros49064 жыл бұрын
@@michaelhz37 I didn´t said the solos weren´t good, I just said they were simple, but effective, actually, if you listen to the solos you can play them, but the way they are played, sequence, tempo, even deliverance by the player, that is what sets them appart and does the thing. Example of another: In ACDC´s razor´s edge the guitar solo isn´t actually that difficult, but playing it like they do? Well, I managed to do it, but it took me about a week or to to get the tempo and I am not a "horrible" guitar player. Besides, I like Celtic Frost´s solos has they are played in their songs ok? It fits the overall theme of the musics.
