Taylor has been targeted quite successfully at the back post on crosses from corners because of his height. If this guy is 5'9" it wont help. Need a taller defender.

I don't think Brendan and defo not the fans will settle for project players unless thats exactly what they are and we still sign proven players of a high quality. We know what kind of money we have in the bank and if a decent chunk of it isnt spent then theres going to be a lot of unhappy people including the manager and players who need help. Hart is going to be a huge loss not just on the park but in the dressing room so we need someone to fill that gap, a big name confident player who can help calum keep the standards and bring confidence to the squad, its a young team and we need a few leaders in there alongside the captain. Two keepers, Idah and a good LB are priorites with a few other positons strengthened.

It's Celtic dafty not rangers, Celtic are probably the biggest supported club in the UK (UK fan base) and one of the biggest in the world, we are also in the champions league so it's a massive step up and a shop window like Harrods, any player just needs to look at our record of developing and selling players and what's happened to Matt O'Riley who is attracting serious attention and going to smash the Scottish transfer record so behave yourself eh 😂😂

@@Graham-1888 The number of fans you have(considerably behind Man U and Liverpool) is irrelevant to a non fan potential player. It alone doesn't make you a big club. Who's going to sign for Celtic to play six hammering s in CL and then have to spend the rest of their time in the world's historically least competitive league and play away at awful grounds like Dens, St Mirren, Ross County etc when they could be paid 3x+ what Celtic pay and they can play against better opposition, with better team mates and it fantastic stadiums. It's so naive of you to think that Celtic haven't plummeted down the pecking order. Anyone in England, Spain, Netherlands, France, Germany, Italy etc is already in a far better shop window. You might have lucked out on Matt O Reilly, but you've bought a ton of pish over recent seasons which simply haven't worked, and won't make you much money in the transfer market. And another thing, you're only guaranteed CL for one more season and have a dreadful qualification record when not in automatically.

Should we not be giving Liam Kelly what he wants and actually starting him next season? Too many young prospects lost to bigger teams. If Leverkusen think he's good enough then he's definitely good enough for Celtic. Sign Bernardo and have him Hatate and Kelly as the 3 attacking midfielders and I'd be happy. If they can find another good project midfielder then fair enough but I don't think we should be spending massive amounts on an O'Riley replacement when we have Liam Kelly and Bernardo. We should be spending the big bucks on a goalkeeper, left back and a right winger. And I hope we spend the money to get Idah

Here we go again with this prospect stuff, I know a LB who can also play CB and is in his prime, he's a bhoyhood Celtic fan, Kieran Tierney, that's who we should be bringing back to the club, along with Forster and Edouard, players who can take us somewhere in Europe again Not this unknown Georgia guy, how many top class Georgia players are out there? Maybe the guy who plays as a winger with Napoli, begins with a K, that's about it We've got money now so no excuses, deliver Eddy, Tierney and Forster

Teirny would need to take a huge wage drop if celtic were to offer him 1st team football and would it would celtic takeing all the risk with kierans injury problems ,but I know what you mean if we could hold on to some player longer we could mabye progress a bit more in europe
