Similar heritage to man utd. Both clubs created by irish immigrants. We started out as Newton Heath wearing the Green and Gold. We were to be called Manchester Celtic but due to tensions at the time decided on Manchester United. Both clubs won the European cup 1967 and 1968 for the first time. Great history.
