@@caileanseoilidh5716 i don't know what kind of pipes these are, as i've never seen bagpipes with 2 drones, but irish pipes are famously not blown into through a mouthpiece but with a bellows if this is based on the tune from titanic, that one was definitely irish music on irish pipes, but this version sounds much more scottish to me

@Marrowbones you need to read some history. the only times there was a coordinated campaign to displace the celts were when the romans forced us out of mainland europe to the british isles, and when the english branded us criminals and shipped us to north america and australia it's a beautiful thing that people are embracing our culture and blending it with their own. and we should embrace theirs too. punjabi celtic fusion music has actually gotten me interested in other types of punjabi fusion music

The difference in the dancers is remarkable. 95% of the kilt dancers are serious and unsmiling. The bhangra dancers are smiling all the time!
@theceilidhboy11 ай бұрын
That's because they're Highland Dancers, the sort that only compete, demonstrate or pose for shortbread tins! And don't smile🤪😂 A MUCH better idea would have been to use some Scottish Ceilidh Dancing instead, where people actuall have a GREAT TIME and laugh and SMILE a lot!!! That would be MUCH more in keeping with the style of the music! 😉For example: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nqS0ZImDobGCirc

Aria, its not just some white people who don't like these two cultures mixing. Once as a teenager and again in my 20's I dated an Indian girl and both times it ended because their families didn't want them dating white men. And I found out that most Indian families feel the same way. But I guess if its considered a cultural thing then its not racism right?!?
@ripscuds44674 жыл бұрын
@Marrowbones I'm not really sure what your point is? If you like or dislike this video. But combining instrumentals and dance of two totally different cultures doesn't destroy one or the other but can only help bring people together. Its inevitable anyway due to our shrinking world.
