This video is truly a gift! I used to love to go waking/hiking, especially in spring and particularly around old graveyards. I became disabled a few years ago and had to give up the one activity that truly made me happy no matter what the weather was. To see this beautiful place, the wildness of it, the beauty of the flowering trees...I cannot express my gratitude. 🥰💜

What a wonderful place you've found! I've always loved old graveyards, too, but I've never been in one as wonderful as that. I'm glad they've let it go wild.

Love this video. Fairy lore is so deeply embedded in British isles history. For Celtic people, the Fae or Tuatha Dé Danann isn’t just folklore. It’s our history and ancestry.

Heavenly guided tour the way you describe the star-like wild garlic flowers and surroundings.(silly me mistaking the garlic for hosta) Ah,ur a gardener,! This explains some of your background and knowledge base. Your little hike seems steeper than it appears,recorded. Bet we'd all be a bit winded. Being a gardener,you gotta be pretty fit. So funny your story about being asked about fear of the dead when you worki in cemeteries. With ya on that one,Sarah-Louise..lol P.S. I went with the latest trend "no mow May" and decided,at the end, to allow the dandys to get tall and leggy. Amazed by how prolific they are with the buds and flowers and I have used them all springtime, medicinally, inside and out and in salads and smoothies. The tops are good cooked and fried and to me taste like tiny artichokes when cooked. I have the tendency to allow my yard to get a bit "furry" so no mow May was a handy excuse..lol Thankyou for taking us along here. You are a fabulous storyteller, tour guide and historian. You truly bring history to life. Illuminating tour

Haha no mow May was. It good business for us gardeners however I got around it by leaving squares of wild flowers over the lawns which was fun. I thought I was fit but walking those steep hills and talking was making me puff!

@@Reikidreams911 as a personal trainer I noticed how a quickly you recovered your breath once the climb leveled off. You are fit,pal!! Luv the idea of the little square patches of flowers

I am a bicycling gardener. I have a trailer and I literally pull my gardening tools including mower. Phone says I walk/ride about 10km per day - phew!
@michelekurlan25802 жыл бұрын
@@Reikidreams911 I have to say that since discovering your ,channel, even before learning you are a gardener,and a bicycling one at that, I have been more motivated to get things done. Rising earlier.. Noticeable uptick in "chopping wood and carrying water (both figurative and literally) The last 3 years kinda took me out between pandemic and personal loss. Thanks for helping revive me, and I am certain so many others,to get back on track. Truly empowering

I love old cemeteries. I once heard a story that because in Victorian times graveyards doubled as parks the spirits got so used to visitors they now feel lonely and breathe a sigh of relief when anyone nowadays stops by. That its even possible to feel the positive change in atmosphere from just being there. Its hard to prove and confirmation bias makes it doubly so, but I like to think its true nonetheless. It makes death less frightening and the passing of loved ones less painful if you can imagine that they see you visiting their grave and get comfort from being remembered.

I keep getting videos adding on to each other, whereas I prefer to see them individually. So, you then have to watch them together because you can't send one to the library and watch the other when you wish to.
@Reikidreams9112 жыл бұрын
I have no idea must be a glitch your end. Maybe un install app the re add it
@wappynightnurse2 жыл бұрын
I've just thought of a way round it...send the 2 or 3 or more videos to the library, before watching them, then watch them individually, when ready, from the library!

At 22.50 after you walk past the 3 mean Brothers, and before you walk into the Church, there is a square tomb on the Right side and you have caught a Flash of a Spirit, or some kind of Energy, what do you think Sarah ?
