Worth noting that Scales played the full 90 vs The Rangers* last time out. Trusty was an unused substitute. And moreover Scales was generally considered our 2nd best performer, after Bernardo. Of course I still fully agree that Trusty deserves to start tomorrow. It’s just the solitary difference from Paul’s predicted XI. The rest really do have the experience.

The last three goals kyogo has scored v them have been from outside the box. This is no coincidence.-Butland does not narrow the angle and is too near his line. Kyogo is 20/1 with hills to score anytime in the game from outside the box.

Rodgers cut the team to the bone in the summer to create a tighter more motivated unit and we shipped out a lot of first team players. Adding in Kenny and 2 more first teamers will be vital especially as we should be shipping out Palma and Yang. If we loan those 2 then we need another 3 in the door as the target is to get talent settled ahead of those Champions League Play-offs next summer. The aim should be to become a team that is feared in the qualifiers. As for the Skol cup, provided we bring that champions league level intensity we are capable of then I think we have enough to lift the cup.

If we can play anywhere close to how we completely destroyed Aberdeen, then we will win. However, if we don't get at them from the 1st whistle then we'll just make the game more difficult for ourselves. Need to get balls into the box much quicker for Kyogo/Maeda/Idah/etc., to capitalise on their pretty poor/slow defence. Disagree. Balogun is by far rangers best defender. As someone who attends all games, he reads the game far better than anyone else in rangers team. He covers a lot of the others too. A CB going unnoticed is usually a good thing

Pondering over three key area's tomorrow and I think Brendan Rodgers must start Hatate, if he's on his game we win it easily as I think on form he's out best Midfielder. I would also go with Engles instead of Bernardo, as I think Bernardo can make more of an impact coming on than Engles can. Bernardo deserves to start but I think his freshness later on in the game will be crucial. Taylor he's been great for us but until he sign's a new contract, I wouldn't play him, his head isn't right and some of his performance's have been woeful, so I think he might start at left back Scales at left back, I've just got a funny feeling about it. Up top he might play Forrest out left and play Maeda through the middle, I know it sounds mental, but bringing Kyogo on later , like Bernardo his freshness might hurt Rangrrs more, especially if Souttar isn't playing. Kuhn on the right bit he neefs a performance. I hope Ali Johnson is fit because starting with Ralston could be a disaster. So for me. Kasper Schmeichel Johnson, CCV, Trusty, Scales. Hatate, Engles, McGregor Kuhn, Maeda, Forrest. But I could be miles out.

Anyones game imo. Celtic havent been starting very well Club Brugge, Hearts, Hibs and Dinamo Zagreb. Celtic are "due a pumping" as the saying goes and vice versa. Rangers have been the better team, form wise, albeit they havent played anyone decent, not even Spurs. If Celtic arent careful, play passes to nobody and careless in possession could be 1 or 2 nil down if Rangers are given chances, which they will take.
