If you listen closely to the words of the song, its a sad song, but also hopeful at the same time. Its a song about remembering the love that's been lost. The line My Heart Was Home Again is suggestive of comfort in remembering that love. So its perfectly acceptable that they smile at times in this song. Plus, its Lisa Lambe's first concert so she smiled a whole lot!

Coming in knowing the Celtic Thunder version, "Tears of Hercules," I was surprised because this one is completely different. Same tune and mostly the same words. This one is more about love and the happier, nostalgic side of a past relationship, but the Celtic Thunder version (which is closer to the original) is about heartbreak and barely being able to cope with lost/unrequited love. Still lovely. I adore their voices.
