I think all the new women in Celtic Woman are very talented, however I miss Celtic Woman's old sound where it was a literal party and everyone wanted to get up and do a jig. I really like this version and this group, but I agree, I like the other version better. I was lucky to see that in concert. It was the song they did to start the show after the intermission. It was so cool having the singers and dancers come down the isle. (I think that was the Emerald Isle Tour.) I saw another concert after that one that had these ladies in it and that concert was great also. They did the Nil Sin La song after the intermission in that concert and I loved it too. I don't remember what tour that one was, but it was the last concert I attended before Covid. Both of those tours did Amazing Grace at the end of the first session which we loved. (We were hoping they would do it the second time we went since we wanted my Aunt to experience that.)

The one from eight years ago was so engaging with the audience compared to this one. I personally preferred the original trio and the violin player they..well I preferred the original crew they had in the vid from 8 years ago. This one is nice, but the other one would literally make you get up on your feet and dance.

I do not understand why people keep going on about old members. They have left, had babies, got married, moved on. Get over it !!!. I have all the CW albums, DVD's and have seen them live. The latest line up: Mairead, Eabha, Megan and Tara is the best line up and Ancient Land is BY FAR the best CW album. It is silly and pointless to compare. To get into CW in the first place you have to be extremely good. The bar is set very high, so the standard will always be high. The current line up is the best. Definately

I hate to be one of those commenters but this feels like it’s missing something... There’s a lot to love about this performance - there’s no English in it, brilliant! Also of course the women and their voices are beautiful. But compared to say, the 2013 performance of this same song, there just isn’t the same energy and personality. I don’t think it’s the fault of the performers, I blame the arrangement and direction. And perhaps the costume design a little... those dresses are beautiful and elegant, but they don’t fit the mood of the song whatsoever. It’s always interesting to see new arrangements from Celtic Woman, but this was a little disappointing
