I just simply don’t understand. As lovely as this is.. why do people need charity? Get a job.. it’s genuinely that simple, I work full time, look after my kid on my own, two dogs and care for my disabled mother.. I pay my bills easily, and have plenty left over.. half these people will have no food but plenty tobacco, alcohol, weed etc. (the parents obviously not the children). You’ll say don’t judge, but really? Scotland is full to the brim with opportunities for employment, no one should be homeless or starving here. Just lazy parents that can’t pay their ways because our tax money isn’t enough for them. I was so close to being homeless, until I knuckled down and worked hard to make sure I provide for not only the people that depend on me but myself. So to sum up, get a grip of yourselves and stop having children without enough money in the background to provide for them. Shameful, like all the comments “praying” people are fed over Christmas… who’d of thought earning a half decent wage pays for all of that huh?
