They know Kyrie, but Strick was extra nice on finishing in traffic! Then Tony Parker. Mark Jackson will post up whoever. These are all guards playing big.

9:53 I like that Rod checked that media narrative that Kyrie matured. It speaks to this Go Along To Get Along mentality that if you don't agree with the masses there is something wrong with you. Today its frowned upon to have a mind of your own

Rod Strickland is H.I.M with the handles. I’ve been telling my sons that my era guys had handles … Just couldn’t do as much as nowadays (rules, coaching) He and God Shammgod are proof that my era had guys with incredible handles. Strickland, watched many times when he was with the Bullets/Wizards.

My birthday today and great to have a new episode once again of The Mark Jackson Show. Good to see Rod Strickland, who was a really underrated player have this talk/interview from Mark and Bluu. Just wish it would’ve been in-studio though. Perfect choice with him being Kyrie’s Godfather too to have him as an interview. Which is perfect timing either way after Kyrie had one of his few good games of the series so far last night. The message from Mark at the end was right on 🎯 too.

I will be using today's Mark Jackson's end of ep wisdom as a quote for my X post 2moro....Great great wisdom...Enjoyed the show...please don't ever take a 2 week break during the payoffs again though...I had forgotten about y'all....But sure was happy to then see you guys again and be reminded u guys exist....The ironic thing? I had just told my dad I think this podcast is the best basketball podcast....Then u guys disappear? I was like wtf?...I'm sure though it was for emergency reasons...so i get it..but just letting y'all know people get inspired by this show and we need it...try to broadcast as much as possible with limited interruption...or when/if u go on vacation let the people know in advance so we're not worried...I also thought maybe Killa Cam had cancelled the show or something over a dispute...we just didn't know as nothing was mentioned on It Is What It Is about the status of the show.....You guys are a big deal nowl...

I do not think that the rest of the world or country has caught up to The New York Point Guard New York has fallen off New York has changed. The NBA has more opportunities because of teams New York made the first great point guard Bob Cousy. Nate Archibald the only man to lead the NBA in scoring and assists New York City culture has changed Do you blame the past mayors of New York. And what they did to New York City public school system Or culturally New York is not the Mecca for black and urban trends any longer You mentioned Kenny Patterson PSAL all time great There are many more that you can mention Maybe you should do a show on that topic and bring bring on other great stars and talk about from Cousy to the present.
