My nephew (opera singer) just sang the Dvorak version of Going Home (actually written and arranged by Dvorak‘s pupil, William Arms Fisher), at my father’s funeral this morning. It was absolutely beautiful and deeply moving. This song is a beauty too.

Went to see these amazing women tonight in Glasgow and I can honestly say it was a privilege! I have no idea how they can sing like this, they each have the voice of an angel, they create emotion with every word and the way the hold themselves is truly inspiring, they are without doubt the best group to ever sing anywhere in the world, nothing comes close to these amazing women! If you think they sound amazing on cds or videos you have to see them live words just don't do justice to their amazing talent!

This song has a special meaning for me. I want to visit Ireland and see where my grandparents and father lived before coming to the USA. They have all passed away. I miss them so much. A visit to Ireland, i.e. "Going Home," will be my tribute in memory of them. They will be forever in my heart.
