This was interesting. I liked the first iteration with the bluesy twist. And the muted trumpet was fabulous. Not a fan of some of the other parts. Would probably never have seen this without your lead. Thanks! I am a little surprised that you don't seem to be familiar with George Gershwin (hard G). Porgy and Bess, Rhapsody in Blue. And so many more classics from the 30's and 40's. Lots for you to discover and enjoy there.

I grew up in the early 50's in south Georgia. I lived in the corner of a cotton field and every summer I had to pick cotton, 25 cents a bag, to help my family get by. I was the only child in the cotton field. So I know, first hand, what it was really like and it was not very good!

Ich habe sehr stark das Gefühl, dass du absolut keine Ahnung von Musik hast, aber professionelle Musiker negativ kritisieren was? Alles klar! 😂😂😂
@rosalieelliottofficial3 ай бұрын
Was laberst du denn? Dafür gibt’s genügend fake KZbin dir dir sagen was du hören magst. Hier gibt’s meine echten Gedanken und Gefühle. Bist willkommen dabei zu sein :)

Hi! I don't know if you've heard of BTS or not (this is the first video i've watched from you. Lol). BTS is the biggest "boyband" in the world right now, and they are extremely talented, and versatile. Would you be interested in checking them out? They are from S. Korea, group consist of 3 rappers, and 4 vocalists (and they all can dance!). They sing in Korean, and English, they are known for their lyricism. Please react to their vocal line's The Truth Untold (make sure English captions are on). Thank you in advance! 💜

Hey Roaslie! Happy Tuesday! I'm a music enthusiast - and I do my best to keep an open mind to all types of music. To me, this was kind of a show-off piece. Both for the pianist and the vocalist - who seemed to be in contention with "the lead" a good bit of the song. While it was interesting to see how many controlled sounds they could each make, it didn't grab or stir me. I love the magical storytelling nature of Gershwin's music. That component of this performance seemed lacking, and seems the musical tricks here could have been put against any song purely as a backdrop. I appreciate the raw talent here though. Thank you for your work and analysis, and for bringing music from all over the world to your channel, and thus, to all of us. You rock, my friend. Love and hugs!! xo PS. Since you love Summertime so much, even if you don't react to it here on your channel, you should check out Angelina Jordan's version of Summertime with the KORK orchestra - she was 10 years old. kzbin.info/www/bejne/qaXad2eqnpanmMU
