Fantastic product; really excited; can cretecote be polished as one can a concrete floor? What would the steps be?

Hi Zain. We're thrilled that you're excited to use our products. If you mean polish as in a type of wax, yes you can. We also sell our own floor polish. If you meant polished as in grinding, then no, as the product is too thin and would more than likely be removed in the process. Beautiful product. What is the life span on it and how does one maintain it?

Hi Effort Ntuli. This product is perfect for residential projects, and if maintained correctly can last 10 years or even longer. The most important aspect is to regularly use a relevant polish or mop and shine (such as our CreteCare Range), which protects the sealer. And if required, strip down the polish and reseal, to extend the floor's lifespan even longer, all depending on the amount of traffic and wear and tear :)

i am looking to make use of cretecote and a sealer in a bathroom on floors and walls. Will cretecote with a sealer suffice for this purpose or is it not advisable to make use of cretecote in shower walls and floor

Hi Ryno, Such a good question. CreteCote is perfect for bathroom floors and can even be used for the shower floor. For the bathroom walls (including the shower walls) however we would rather recommend one of our wall finishes, you can have a look at either CemCote Skimmed, a trowel-on cement wall coating or SatinCrete, a decorative interior coloured plaster.
