Takes 28 days per inch of depth for concrete to fully cure. That will be 112 days total. Hope Rusty keeps the property long enough to see concrete cure.

Back in the day, my Dad poured a patio in our back yard .. he got done trowing about midnight.. he had told me that I could play on it the next day.. so 5 am I had my cast iron peddle tractor on it .. all went well but there were swirls where I turned the front tires.

It's hard getting stuff done in Lincoln County or any other rural area. You really do have to take charge of your projects and stay on top of contractors 100 percent of the time. Simple things that should take a couple of days can be made into two week projects - by weather, supply or manpower issues. I'm glad you are getting it done. I have a barn that needs about an 800 sq ft floor poured so I'll be doing the same thing as you in about two months. I'm probably going to do what you did and contact the concrete plant directly for options.

looks like your crew did a good job on the prep. Around here concrete is about 200 dollars a yard, depending on the strength. I always like using 4,000 strength for a garage floor, that is about 600 lbs. of cement per yard. Concrete less than 4,000 strength will have less cement per yard.
