It would be cool if in undertale hard mode, the sans fight has a third phase, where he is bleeding from one eye, and it somehow gets even harder. They could mix his blue attack with different soul colours, maybe add a new one to represent sins, maybe switch the numbers of your lvl around, and by that time you're level twenty, so you would be turned into a lvl 2

I actually put some thought into this myself - I think the battle should *look* almost exactly the same as the normal sans, but have several changes in mechanics, ie: moving platforms are solid both ways, Gaster Blasters push you, and most importantly, the purple part of your HP bar doesn't keep you alive - if you run out of green, you're dead - which also means that the purple will in turn act as a sort of reverse HP buff, because when you heal, purple damage is not replaced by green health. But then it all changes at his "special attack" (not the actual one, the one he fools you into thinking is the real one) (Note: the part about the purple is disabled for this move, which sans mentions) The gravity-change part goes as normal, but at the part with the vertical bone conveyor, the bones are spread slightly apart, leaving a gap in the middle, and move much slower, but Gaster Blasters periodically fire down the middle of the gap. When sans flings you down the hallway of bones, he occasionally switches gravity as you're falling, and the next phase is combined with sans' first attack, making it so that you have to jump away from the walls of the box into a very tight gap with little reaction time. The rest remains the same, but after sans finishes flinging you against the walls in a last ditch attempt to kill you, he mentions his special attack one last time, and the screen flashes white for one frame, dealing 1 damage and more than likely killing the player. If you can survive *THAT*, then you win.
