Same though, these kids did great, I DO wish they attempted the vocal vs guitar high notes, but TBH for ANYBODY that's an incredible stretch, let alone a kid so I can't complain, and I'm sure they attempted it in rehearsal but that's a huge octave range that not many vocalists have so no judgement and I can't complain since I can't do it by ANY means lmao.

Jesse James my name is also Jesse James, but more importantly I was baptized with another young man when I was 15 he was 16, we were friends and had played sports together all our lives. We felt something touch us in such a way it only took one look into each other’s eyes to know we both felt the same thing in that pool of water. And two years later I was listening to this song and for the first time heard it for what it was I cried I didn’t know why I just knew it was the right thing like something had been taken from me. My mother opened my bedroom door not 5 min later to tell me Johnny had died in a car accident the very same young man I was connected to in that water died, and then I knew why I was crying everytime I hear this song since then I always cry... Anyways just wanted to share the power Of musically enhanced memories and to embrace the way a song makes you feel. You may want a certain memory one day

People can get off their high horse. I can point out a few things that could be better, but let's remember that it's kids on there. My band use to perform this song from time to time, and I used to cringe when it was requested. Any Pantera song really. There is a ton of harmonic movement in the songs, and to bring their songs to life was no easy task, even with a group of veteran musicians. There is a reason we remember Dimebag as on of the greats.

***** Tell me what you think after you see it. I never would've imagined a girl singing that, let alone a 12 year-old, but I thought she did it pretty well! The drummer kicked ass, too!
@menjiii018 жыл бұрын
Muff Diver okay sorry it took me so long but I'm back. I thought they did very well and it makes me happy to see kids not only learning to play instruments but playing meaningful music. Honestly, and this may not be the most popular opinion but I wouldn't listen to it again once was enough for me that particular song makes quite an impact on me and given the depth of the meaning behind it I'm just not digging the 12 year old girl on the vocals. I don't 'believe' the song when she sings it and it doesn't move me the way it does when Keenan sings it. Other than that it's all fine by me : )

The song is great, but these kids sound like they don't have enough chemistry. You can be a great guitarist/bassist, a great drummer, or a great vocalist but if you don't get that vibe where you get lost in the music then you don't have the right guys playing next to you. But overall a good effort in trying to live up to a legendary band.
