every other emulator: Yeah that part crashes just restart and maybe edit these 120 ini files CEMU: your keyboard is a controller, your phones a controller, YOUR FACE IS A CONTROLLER

I wish I knew this before I spent an hour on this shrine with motion controls!! I ended up cheesing the shrine by using the maze as a paddle and smacking the ball onto the ramp 😂😂😂

If you don't have a handy way to connect your desktop to wi-fi, then simply connect the phone to the PC by USB, connect the phone to the wi-fi network ( or cellular ), go into settings > connections > mobile hotspot and tethering > and enable USB tethering. This way your phone and PC will share the same network connection, and everything will work as BSoD says in this very nice video :)

Thank you! I live on campus so I'm stuck with the university's public wifi. I plugged my phone into my computer, turned on USB tethering, boom. Worked.

Now CemuHook is not required anymore since it's now implemented in Cemu by default. In order to make it work you have to follow all the same steps in your phone but in Cemu you have to add a input for a new controller with the DSUController API. You put the IP adress and now you can enjoy your game with an easy gyroscope

Worked for me today. I didn't have the two extra dll files mentioned in the video and it still worked using Cemu 1.26.2 on windows 10.

For anyone here having issues with it not showing up after you start, there's a possibility you have 2 wifi networks. This works by creating a virtual server on the local network so connect to the same computer than has the CEMU drive installed

Quick tip if you're suddenly having problems despite it working before Your cemu hook probably needs an update go to the site, download the zip folder, unzip, copy, and paste in game folder and you are good to go

Works great with Cemu 1.26f (didn't try with the 2.0 version as that is still labeled as 'experimental' and I don't have the time/energy/patience at my age to deal with beta stuff) in January 2023. The application from the play store, sensor kinetics is not available anymore, but is not needed as almost every phone comes with a gyroscope - and as this video points out, even without the gyroscope hardware, a phone tries to 'fake it' using a combination of other sensor data.
