i actually prefer when the profane/sensitive lyrics are replaced by obvious breaks in the audio, because then if that's someone's first exposure to the song, they at least know right away that there's an explicit version. re-recording entirely new "clean" lyrics only makes it that much more shocking when someone eventually stumbles upon the original.
