How do I get shifter off of 2009 Accent? P!ease help, I spilled a coke getting out off car. Not sure how much soda get down below shifter. Trying to clean before it dries.

Yes but I learned my knob doesn't have to come off to remove console.Luckily drink didn't make it far so its all good. SO I am trying to figure out why I have to hit the shifter or console to get indicator lights to come on. I am a lights person. Any suggestions? Hard to find Accent help, especially 2009

Its hard to find any help on 2009 Accents period. Can you tell me which color wire is the light for this console to light up? After I hit the shifter or console itself it comes on. Lose connection or something. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
